updated (seems to work, and sfo didn't change any unit numbers AFAIK)

Updated. Took a bit of a shortcut since it appears SFO didn't update units at all. If you see something off let me know, though me getting to it isn't a guarantee as I'm still fairly ill or whatever the hell it is I got. Hopefully I'm the mend.

@marc I think I'll wait until the next update. I am feeling better tho so hopefully by the time it rolls around I'll be okay

@Drakken All chosen on SFO have 40 units AFAICT, I just checked SFO's tables. I don't remember them ever being in the 20s myself as well. Maybe you're mistaking them for a mod?
Drakken 7 Oct, 2024 @ 6:21am
The chosen went from 24 entities to 45 in Khorne and Nurgle armies. I am not sure about the others as those were the factions I fought against.

@Drakken

Wait I've doubled chosen? I never intended that, can you give me an example? I don't remember doubling elite units. At best I give them about a ~10%+ buff. I have a method of mass updating numbers, and might've made some mistakes too.

I looked at the exalted PBs and yeah, they shouldn't have as many as the regular plaguebearers. I lowered it to 100 for now.

I think I kind of agree with you in general, and I already took off the health buff that single entities got from the guy who used to run the SFO survival mod.
Drakken 4 Oct, 2024 @ 6:45am
Hey Neverending. Your changes to demon armies include increases to unit health. With Nurgles healing abilities they have become godlike to fight against.

Also, why are you increasing the number of entities in elite units?

You nearly doubled the number of chosen in the demon's roster. Thus also doubling their health.

Is it supposed to work this way?

I always thought Kam's mod increased chaff and regular units numbers and left elites relatively unchanged.

Almost doubling chosen and increasing other elites like exalted plaguebearers seems outside the scope of the original plan.

I know SFO increases chaff numbers already but I don't see why that makes the case for doing this with higher tier units.

Thanks for your work on this mod.

@Nekrin Fixed

neverending  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 7:30am
@Nekrin I'll check that out
Erhes 16 Jul, 2024 @ 3:00am

@marc

Updated, and I checked the numbers as I updated. However I am experiencing vertigo right now actually so don't hold me to it

Another update. Noticed a few really weird mistakes, like dragon ogres having 100 units. Something is going on *only* when I use the column filtering method in RPFM for WoC units etc. If anyone sees any other weirdness of course let me know.

@marc.on.pluto514

Alright updated, and I added some legendary units I think I was missing. Boots up, but i haven't tested a campaign or something
neverending  [author] 2 Mar, 2024 @ 7:17pm
@marc

SFO itself hasn't update for 4.2, there is no point yet. I'll probably get to it soon after SFO releases their beta for 4.2

update
neverending  [author] 28 Nov, 2023 @ 5:09pm
@Drakken I'm not sure if it's working for 4.1 since SFO hasn't come out for 4.1 itself yet. But yeah I will try to make it work asap since I've been missing it too
Drakken 28 Nov, 2023 @ 4:21pm
Hey neverending. Thank you for the work you are doing to keep this mod going.

Even with the SFO tide settings set 100% against the order factions, I still find I need this mod to make the game a challenge.

Is this working for 4.1? I am playing the old version (4.07) until my last campaign is finished.

awesome ty <3
neverending  [author] 8 Oct, 2023 @ 8:51am
@marc.on.pluto514 Alrighty updated. I don't own the dlc but it was fairly simple to find the units in the sfo table and the numbers seemed to have updated in the game from what I can tell
marc.on.pluto514 4 Oct, 2023 @ 12:09pm
update pls
Drakken 29 Sep, 2023 @ 3:52pm
Thanks for your work on this. It just ups the difficulty a little more when you play an order faction
RaVe 4 Sep, 2023 @ 11:47pm
look forward to it!
neverending  [author] 4 Sep, 2023 @ 8:48am
@RaVe thanks, this SFO submod is actually easier to update than CA's because not as many units are changed nearly as much so I can leave much of it alone. I'll try to get on top of it when Venris releases SFO mod for 4.0
RaVe 27 Aug, 2023 @ 2:36am
i dont think you get enough recognition for this series of survival mods. jsut wanted to stop by to say i still use it with friends to have the best time in total war! thank you so much for existing and giving us access to this experience
marc.on.pluto514 19 May, 2023 @ 10:28pm
awesome
neverending  [author] 17 May, 2023 @ 3:17pm
@NyoHo bizarre, it's crazy what mods can affect sometimes. Glad you figured it out :)
NyoHo 17 May, 2023 @ 3:10pm
I discovered the cause was another mod that is just supposed to alter skins, the reason it happens still remains a mystery however x) thank you for your quick response !!
neverending  [author] 17 May, 2023 @ 6:48am
@NyoHo I tested this by only loading SFO and SFO survival mod here and it's fine. Also I don't even edit Khorne spawn in this mod because it is a single entity now in SFO. Are you sure you loaded the right submod for SFO?
NyoHo 17 May, 2023 @ 3:51am
First of all thank your updating this mod!
However I noticed an issue in this latest update with Khorne Chaos spawns, which have 120000 hp and 600 WS
neverending  [author] 12 May, 2023 @ 8:33pm
@everyone I've updated the mod using a new method that hopefully saves me alot of time and also brings all the new changes SFO may have changed to any of the buffed units. If you see something weird/wrong let me know because there was a few times RPFM was bugging out (or I was using it wrong) and had to do things manually a bit.
Cerb 7 Mar, 2023 @ 6:28pm
Smart :)
neverending  [author] 7 Mar, 2023 @ 6:11pm
@Cerb True, I could copy everything but the unit size values, that would probably fix
Cerb 7 Mar, 2023 @ 5:09pm
Guessing you deleted the file or jpg from your data folder. It'll work fine, but if SFO makes changes to their unit balance youd have to manually copy those changes into your mod - since youre currently using specific sfo values from one point in time.
neverending  [author] 7 Mar, 2023 @ 3:38pm
@Cerb does seem to still be working, tried it on a new campaign actually, seems to be just fine. Can't find it in my mod list for some reason to press the update button.. lol
Cerb 7 Dec, 2022 @ 1:53pm
I think they're referring to the new SFO version that just came out - but as you modelled this on the battles beta with similar/the same unit stats its still workable - just when you can you may want to go over the new stats see if anything has changed.
Cerb 7 Dec, 2022 @ 1:52pm
It's working just fine for me..
neverending  [author] 7 Dec, 2022 @ 7:34am
@marc.on.pluto514 @steelwarrior77 is it not working? I havne't played TWW3 in awhile, if it isn't I'll look into it, otherwise I'll just "update" it to the current build
marc.on.pluto514 6 Dec, 2022 @ 10:03pm
update pls
steelwarrior77 5 Dec, 2022 @ 12:58pm
Any update planned?
neverending  [author] 5 Oct, 2022 @ 11:24am
@Kerrberos No health changes means I simply increased the size of the unit and did not decrease the health per mode (each model has a certain health amount that, when added up, equals the health of the unit)l. In my other non-SFO survival mod I decreased the health a bit. I've found with SFO decreasing the health isn't really needed, as the unit were already fairly lowered in actual health per entities since alot of horde/chaff units were already thematically boosted
Kerrberos 4 Oct, 2022 @ 11:30am
does no health changes essentially = no balance change? or does increased model count still help these factions do better in auto resolve?
