hi, really like the way you approached allegiances. the empire really is the nation that is the uniter of the different factions. i have 1 problem though, no crash or anything like that, but im using SFO and since they add technologies, yours 'banners / buttos' in the thechnology screen get overlapped by theirs. any chanse you could shift yours 2 spots to the right? its a shame i cant acces the dwarf, brettonia and elf technologies. sorry if its an inconvenience

Would it be possible to have other unlock requirements for these techs, like having an alliance or X amount of positive relations?

Money remains of course the simplest solution :)

By the looks of it, they've also moved the position of vanilla technologies. This is a whole lot of work for a mod that I'll never use. I'm very busy with RL at the moment so someone else will have to do it.

I'm going to keep looking out for bug reports, so let me know if you find any. In the meantime, I'm going to start brainstorming alliance technologies for the next culture. I'm thinking of Dwarfs. If anyone has any preferences or suggestions, please let me know!

A strange BUG, the tech Virtuosic Bladework didn't give passive ability: "Imperial Mastery" for Greatsword units, but for all unit seems like enchant attack.

If it's crashing after an alliance with a faction that isn't Dwarfs, Bretonnia, High Elves, Kislev, Grand Cathay or Lizardmen, I think I know why.

Have you tried unsubbing and resubbing? That's the issue I fixed in the last update.

What's happening is that after an alliance is completed, my listener was trying to unlock a technology key of "nil". This doesn't crash the game, but it causes the game to repeatedly call the same UI element until you try and open a new one. Then it crashes.

Same issue as @Zets, trying to pinpoint what exactly - sometimes its trying to get Defense Alliance that crashes it, sometimes its trying to pull up a city of an Ally

I think it was a bit ambitious to have made my first mod revolve around a Lua script that I hadn't tested properly... Turns out testing diplomacy with Lua commands isn't the same as an actual diplomatic transaction in a campaign!

You've been a real help. Thanks. I've learnt how to output script logs, which has made fixing the issue fairly straightforward. Everything should be functional as of this last update.

If it's still breaking, I'll be really sad lol.

Sad news. Your mod (or submod) breaks the game, it just crashes to desktop on turn 1.

Steps to reproduce:
1 - Start a new Karl Franz campaing with ONLY your mod, submod and the other empire tech mod active (three mods total).
2 - Make a quick deal (trade agreement) with Kislev.
3 - Profit.

I used the gold hack (memory edit) AFTER checking your mod to try if the techs are actually researchable. They are.

-- Edit -- I just tried without the gold hack (saving money a few turns doing absolutely nothing) and it's exactly the same issue, I can purchase the techs once I save 10000 gold.

@Lobuno Can you try without the gold hack on? If it works without it, I need to remove the resource cost from the prerequisite techs.

And just to clarify, are the techs actually researchable? They all appear locked in your screenshot.

That's weird. Karl's techs lock properly for me. The only thing I can think of is you have a mod that forces an alliance with Kislev. Alternatively, try unsubbing and resubbing.

Regarding the OBO mod issue, I've wrote a submod.

I can't move my technologies down below the Diplomacy section without clipping into OBO's techs. I'll need to make a submod to move his techs.
