Great mod as always when we don't want to play as Grudgebringer as a faction! (y)
To adding more fun, just my suggestion, it's better to have MCT to choose wihich faction can recuit the units, for example, I don't want Dwarf recruit them because those short-sighteness are too proud to use human mercenaries....

Also, on my YT channel I have tutorial how to remove unit caps for any recruitable unit either vanilla or modded, its should be pretty easy to follow and takes +-20 minutes to do even if you never touched modding tools. That way you can recruit anything as many times as you want, just have to finish quest for them and wait 10 turns between recruiting which prevents snowballing with ROR doomstack at least to some degree

Encamp is broken since last DLC that altered stances to fix bugged ogre camps. Multiples of grudgebringers cant be recruited in dark omen, unless you levelup for example Grudgebringer Infantry, crossbows, grudgebringer cavalry and carlsson infantry to 3 gold shevrons. Afterwards level 9 unit will transform to Tier 2 version. Tier 2 versions are concidered separate entity, hence allows you to recruit second ror of grudgebringer infantry for example. This in theory should be doable once or 3 times in case of grudgebringer infantry as they have 3 tiers. 1x Entity thats "tier 1", 1x Entity that is "tier 2" and 1x entity that is "tier 3". Higher tier gets better stats and increased manpower up to 240 fighters in unit at tier 3. (I believe thats all of them not 100% sure)

are you not supposed to beadle to encamp with Commander Morgan Bernhardt, so you cant recruit multiples of the "generic" Grudgebringers units. least in my game running around trying to build him up to a usable force is suicide.

Crashing when clicking hero could be skilldump/increased max level mod, if its only happening 100+ turns in game and not when you recruit him (many mods that are especially all-in-one cover Dark Omen+Grudgebringers, causing dark omen entities to get assigned OVN mod identities or vice versa, causing cascade problems starting with no skill trees up to straightup crashes). Could also be corrupted scripts as I explained below. For fat modlist your best bet is just do test, load up 50+ mods, spam end turn for 50-100 turns or get auto-endturn mod. Then save game or something, reload back do a battle or two... if your game survives 100+ turns, loading to/from battle and quit/reload of the save all without crash you're good to add another 50+ mods. Its tedious, annoying but probably most efficient way to playtest with heavy modlists if you dont have idea whats causing the problems.

Anyone having a problem maybe a 100 turns into a campaign, whenever I even just click on Allor the game freezes then crashes. Happening only with him! Heavily modded game

Assuming you dont have issues with only dark omen enabled but have them with other mods enabled try this:

Mod Configuration Tool (MCT) allows you to enable debugging/logging so mods will output .txt files in your warhammer3.exe directory that sometimes provide helpful info about what's wrong. Enabling "Context Viewer" in game settings will show big red X next to campaign map if lua error is encountered which is good additional piece of info when you playtest your modlist (some mods hide that red X so don't rely on this 100%)

There are cases when script lag caused by errors can result in game not saving state, especially if you save/load back into the game. Notable example was Unwashed Masses mod that added Gnoblar horde factions into the game. Whatever was wrong with it, it doubled load times and game didn't even save settings once in campaign with that mod enabled. If you have script heavy mods that are not regularly maintained it can cause similiar problems. There are mods that may not seem related to this at first glance, but if one mod floods the game with broken scripts it can break even stuff that has seemingly nothing to do with it.

About those popups, I remember I started noticing that quests don't save/remember their state around the time thrones of decay launched. I was not able to pinpoint what was the cause of that but I got that problem with reoccuring popups or restarting quests even without dark omen. Just curious do you get those popup spams even with just Dark Omen mod enabled? I had suspicion it could be due to "Recruit Defeated Legendary Lords" mod being outdated but never got around to test it 🙄

If you postpone Recruiting Morgan for 10 turns - the game will not crash anymore. The issue now is that he is missing the Encamp stance.

Tested with Old World, I can see the unit cards in my lords skill tree, but there seems to be no way to recruit them (assume some sort of quest or dilemma is supposed to initiate? I'm on turn 20 and nothing has happened).

Oh and lastly. On Topic of ludwig in my unofficial patch I got him semi-restored but with disabled steam tank as model's not something I am capable of fixing, also his restock skill is not working as I didnt notice patch changing restock. If you dont mind him on baloon, mech horse or walking you can grab my patch, not sure if it still works as last time I updated it was 5.2.6 but chances are there :D

Generally I would recommend doing good old "Enable 50 mods at the time, launch game, play" and repeat until you start crashing. Once you do disable last 50 mods you turned on, Enable them few at the time until you isolate the culprit and report what mod caused the issue, there could be something to do about it.

Lastly I dont believe that this mod's scripts directly support Mixu's factions as they're not vanilla playable factions, someone may correct me if I am wrong but I dont believe they're covered. (Yet?)

99% of Empire mods work perfectly fine with this, except Grudgebringers due to overlap in database entries, Legendary characters having Ludwig too caused you to have 2 of them with slightly varied skill trees. If you crash it won't hurt to re-do your modlist as each patch/mod update may introduce issues. I've summoned elector counts more times them I can count (pun intended) and had no crashes directly caused by this mod, except single case when building with morgan's horde crashed the game due to conflict with skilldump mod.

As for Ludwig he is on vacation due to Thrones of Decay tank changes that completely broken his model

Whenever I tried to recruit Morgan game crashes. I don't know which mod is conflicting now.

After trimming down my mod list by disabling some faction mods, Morgan can be recruited normally, but since he has no encamp stance he is unable to recruit any troops unless he is inside a region settlement. Can this be fixed somehow?

Anyone having mod compatibility issues with this one, suggest you reset your load order and try, if that doesn't work move this mod to 1st then try it again. without knowing which mods you're using... this worked for me. I like using three spec points per level and unlocked skills. I'm certain one of those were causing my crash at recruitment and loading DO first resolved it.

Is there a reason we can't disband the heroes? When I am playing as the empire I don't want Dwarven and Kislevite heroes personally. So I either have to endure a notification every 3 or 4 turns asking me to recruit some foreign hero or I recruit them and they just sit around cluttering my world map and making it hard to remember where the heroes I actually want to use are. Amazing mod regardless!

hello ive ran into issues when playing with this mod and sigmars heirs resulting in the game crashing when recruiting Morgan (p.s not 100% sure if its specifically this mod but after crashing in game the game starts to crash on start up) also no encamp

I started a High Elf campaign and am a bit disappointed I can't recruit Morgan and co. I was wondering why Cathay can hire them but the High Elves can't.
