flare trip line. If you play at night you will see a flare up in the air
and it will light up the area, just dont be seen!
Only question I have - from time to time we heard a sound like a flare or smoke grenade going off - what does that mean?

as the mission is meant to be played through MP lan or on a server
so you can respawn,change the weather, the time, and many
other functions that you cant do in SP.
So my suggestion is to go to MP, host a server, set it to private by putting in a
password, make it 1 player, and then choose the soldier with (mortar)
so you can call in Mortar support.
Then go to parameters (top right) set the time, weather, grass density,
weapon sway, recoil, and then press continue, from there look at the map and choose
where you want to start any of the 3 camps.
From their pick your weapons and gear at the arsenal, and recruit AI if you want.
as you said you should know what im talking about.
But like i said if you play through mp lan you can change the time, the weather,
choose where you want to respawn, and respawn, as well as your loadout
get saved on respawn and your body will delete on respawn.
Playing in singleplayer under Singleplayer ----> Scenarios
you cant save the mission, if you die its mission over, you cant change the
weather, time of day, weapon sway or recoil, ect,.
Kirgiz its good to see a fellow veteran i was also playing since 2000, been
editing and building missions since!
Anyways i will be updating the mission soon again as i want to add an exfil
aspect to the mission.
I just wanted to say that for a larger audience, you can leave the single if someone does not have friends online, and at least to get acquainted and have a greater opportunity to save and go to a bar, and then continue. Units in a single (other AI) can be playable for teamswich and I already wrote, it's good if the recruits are also playable.
But well ... This is your mission and your business how to arrange everything, thank you, of course it's up to you!

Respawn and go back to the player start, theres 3 camps you can go back to, you
wont get killed there. If your playing the mission with friends it should take you no more
2hrs if that. You can still minimize your game and go do what you have to do.
My suggestion is again respawn back to the player one of the player camps
and then you can stop playing the game and go do what you have to do.
As i said in an earlier comment, the mission is meant to be played through mp lan
or on a server, if you dont then you only start at one place, you miss out
on many features. Plus in SP the other playable units that your
friends can choose will be standing there and you cant do nothing.

He basically wants to be able to pause or take a break from the game to
go do whatever, and then come back to it, which imo you should be doing
before you start a game.
the scenarios tab on the main menu of the game, so again if you want to play solo
in singleplayer then follow my instructions in the description "How to play"
and also watch the beginning of the video i linked below and i go
through setting up the mission.

You guys that want to play SP are going to miss out on alot of features if you dont
play this through MP lan.
Let me explain something, the mission is designed as a multiplayer mission which is meant
to be played on a server with friends.
So because of that there is other coding that adds more
features and functions to the mission such as respawn, choosing which player camp to start at,
changing the weather, time of day, stamina, grass density, and even weapon recoil and sway.
The title says SP/Coop because you can play this by yourself or with friends, so if your
going to play this by yourself then your going to play through MP lan which i have
instructions in the description in how to do.
You choose and adjust the parameters you want, and then once the mission starts
then you choose where you want to start at as there are 3 starting positions on the map.
Once your ingame then you can change your weapons and gear, uniform etc,.
and also recruit AI.
So that it would be possible to recruit several squads and the AI might add a high command for the flight commander. And it is possible to make playable those AI that the player recruits into the group. This will be more convenient for playing with a veteran level. Thanks for your work.
Mission is meant to be played through MP lan, not SP scenarios, its not setup for
singleplayer, thats why your seeing the ai standing there at the start.
Your missing out on features of the mission if you play it through singleplayer scenarios.
You cant respawn in singleplayer unless you play through MP lan, try through mp lan.
Thats how i design all my missions to be played through mp lan or on a server.

Yes it is intentional to have the other playable units separate, you can recruit AI
at any of the player camps and thats the reason.
