Thank you for the beyond fast response and spending clearly, an insane amount of time on them. /bow

I essentially reverted the Blessed Strike change. I think I was checking the target, not the caster. I'll look into it further and weigh whether I want to make further changes or not. Thank you for the report, Zols, and thanks for playing my mods.

For other fights it will be hard to pull off to get good value for elemental fury, but the weapon enchants should be good for awhile.
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:59pm
Just tested this combo, with 22 mana exactly, cast any 7 mana weapon enchant 3 times, then cast elemental fury and it will proc the restore, putting you at between 19-20 mana, then move foward just enough to fully restore your mp, and it should leave you with between 96-101 time on the lightening enchant and 31 time on the elemtnal fury str buff.

So yup, it works and 100% will work for ahlvarza's dungeon (which im gonna enjoying using), 100% this should work for other fights.

Exact same tactic i used back when i did dos 2, cast your dude's pet to start combat, have your guys buff the pet so he has full buffs, then move 1 team mate at a time into combat and you get full buffs. Nice to see the same tactic can work here.

Actions move time forward outside of combat, so yeah, casting the Enchant is probably moving time forward enough to regain MP before it finishes. I'm not sure that Essence Flow even works outside of combat...

outside of combat
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:48pm
Wait, even an action regens 1 mp? i thought it was just if you move 1 step
Prominence  [author] 9 Mar @ 5:45pm
In and out of combat is going to make a huge difference for testing. Your characters regenerate HP and MP outside of combat every time something happens, like you using an action or taking a step.
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:44pm
Nope no other mods, your big mod pack is clearly the unofficial free DLC expansion for this game since the dev does not do dlc for his game's it seems. Nicely done on the mods. But currently have not tested the enchanter mana restore in combat (just outside of combat, i JUST got it, was hoping i could just yolo enchant all my dude's before combat using it, but so far cant do that)
Prominence  [author] 9 Mar @ 5:39pm
I have introduced a few ways to regenerate MP, so if you're using any of those it's possible that your MP isn't what you expect. But I have not introduced any methods for reducing MP costs of abilities, so check if you have mods from other creators. I'll look into Blessed Strike and see what I can do. I can always restore it to its previous functionality.

Also im playing the game on almost the hardest setting (everything is at max except for the one that effects morale/mini map, thats on the second hardest setting, cause i dont like things messing with my minimap)
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:36pm
I am using your prominence mod pack (and nothing else) except for some mods that scared me (am not sure if i might run into some of the classes), i avoided downloading wild magic, book of thieves (i want the vanila ending) aurora magna, outsider, tetragram, ambidexterity, unbury the bones and more status effects.

And nope, when i used it for the first time, reeves just had regen and gaurd, axe dmg was default 9 dmg, and with blessed strike, was also only 9 dmg, and when i used it, it did 9 dmg.

Also, since i got you so early as well, im not sure if your mods are interfearing with spells when you have the enchanter ability that restore's mana when you got 1. My main dude has 22 mana (on purpose) and i figured i could just infinitely cast any 7 cost spell and after the first cast, it seems each spell costs 1 less mana, almost as if the game is like "NO! ITS NOT THAT EASE TO CHEESE THIS ABILITY!" /cry lol
Prominence  [author] 9 Mar @ 5:26pm
Zols, are you using any other mods that apply permanent or long lasting debuffs to your characters? I changed the math behind Blessed Strike pretty recently, and I may need to fine tune it further... and update its tooltip a bit. It's adding all status effects - negative status effects as a damage increase. So if you have a lot of negative status effects, it probably won't deal extra damage.
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:15pm
Oh, and this is inside Ahlvarza's repeatable dungeon
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:14pm
The lunge part works, but not extra dmg : (
Zols 9 Mar @ 5:13pm
Blessed strike seems to be bugged currently and not working. Both at rank 1 and rank 2. Its not working with the buffs from paragon and when i tried it with an enchanter buff (lightening enchant) outside of combat after getting it to rank 2 (thinking maybe 10% wasint enough), it again, was no different then using my default attack.

It did not effect either the default weapon attack (im using an augmented axe on reeve) and its not effecting the augment or enchant dmg either. /cry

Anyways, thanks for all your hard work, I came back for another playthrough with all the mods and all your content was fun.

If I wasn't already a busy modder elsewhere, you'd have made me consider doing Horizon Gate mods (lol).
eharper256 12 Feb, 2023 @ 3:25am
Oh nah, it's in the main Betwixt map... somewhere. Probably in the Gate Labs, but I wasn't going to look for it in the end as when I realised it was gone I was already off to do Sea Vault III for Book of Thieves.

It's fine though, I picked up the Aspis mod shield for him and that's arguably even better.

I didn't get around to doing the repeatable section since I was already massively overflowing with XP by that point and was just gathering optimal gear (which the ironice chests helped with, notably with the +2 Flail/Shield gloves for Dyme and Auto-Enchant Ring for my Ranger/Spell Archon cat archer).

eharper256, I'm glad to hear that you put this class to good use! As for your Silver Tower, I'm sorry that Betwixt doesn't have item recovery in its repeatable combat zones. I suggest using Build Mode to restore it. Open the console with shift ~, type b, and press enter. From there, it shouldn't be too hard to find the Silver Tower in the weapons tab on the top left and add it to your game. Return to normal mode by pressing escape.

Used this on my Reeve along with Bastion mod class this playthrough and he really felt like a strong paladin (with Bard debuff removal and Sage heal on ability crests).

It's a pretty awesome combo that allows you to mostly go without the usual Sage/Warden setup (since you start with Ward, Guard, and Regen with the passives from both these classes and then apply them to the entire team with Covenant on the first turn).

As my Reeve had about 13 Life skill by the endgame and had the hammer from the Bastion that uses Life skill for damage, he was pretty great support and decent DPS all in one. My only problem was that I had a Silver Tower, threw it, and somehow lost it in the dark in Betwixt (lol).

It's working on my end. I just tested it along with some other abilities that function similarly. Could you test it again? Check the position of the character in the turn order bar at the top left, along with their specific number of TTA before their turn arrives. It's pretty easy to test, as you can trigger it by attacking your own teammate that has it on.

I don't know if it's just me, I'm doing something wrong, or there's a conflict with another mod, but as far as I can tell Urgency is currently delaying my turn by 2 TTA instead of increasing it.
Prominence  [author] 15 Oct, 2022 @ 8:13pm
Thank you, ParadiseBell! And thank you, Trobs, as always, for your help polishing these mods. I've updated it just now.
787 Redliner 15 Oct, 2022 @ 7:23pm
love the Urgency passive, I was surprised there was nothing like it in the base game
Trobs 15 Oct, 2022 @ 7:20pm
Chevalier fills a role I've long felt was missing in the HG class list. Really impressive work as always.

Probably unintended: Shield Throw allows you to throw any melee weapon whether a shield is equipped or not.
