Is this mod and its 4k submod ever going to be updated or maintained? Its been over two years since updates so I was wonderinf if it could be made compatible with current game versions.

Jupiter, Neptune, and Uranus seems to have weird rings. Jupiter's rings are unnaturally yellow, and both Neptune's and Uranus' rings almost have no texture. Are these intended or bugs?

Sorry for the late response @muttonchopsman! We will get this updated in the future, but primary focus for the time being is primarily on ME:BtR, we're light on coders and so for the most part only one gets worked on at any given time.

I'm glad you love it though, and will try and find some time soon to update it.

Any news on this mod getting an update? it has compatibility problems now and won't function, but I love using it!

dlc dependencies*
Puckhead73  [author] 15 Feb, 2023 @ 9:56pm
@johannesAW - Sorry for the super delayed response, but the core DLCs that ME:BtR requires are listed on the Beyond the Relays page, this mod doesn't have any mod dependencies.
JohannesAW 15 Jan, 2023 @ 7:58am
@BinaryHelix - I'm new to Stellaris. Only playing 'cause of these amazing mods. May I ask which DLCs are considered 'core' as you mentioned in the last comment? There is a fuckload of DLCs for this game and I need to prioritize. =)

So, this isn't ironman compat?
binaryhelixmods  [author] 18 Dec, 2022 @ 10:39am
@zemmy.cole - We've tried to take as clean of an approach to functionality without DLC as possible, but we decided early on that we as a team wanted to make full use of everything that Paradox makes available to us where it makes sense to do so. As such there might be certain empires that are not available without certain DLCs, etc. Our entire dev team has all of the DLCs (with only a couple exceptions) and so while we've tried to remain conscientious about the application of DLC assets/code, we have not gone out of our way to make the mod function without them, and cannot guarantee it's functionality if the core DLC's of Stellaris are missing. Providing a non DLC version is honestly something I don't see us ever doing, as that's a substantial amount of work for a diluted and lower quality version of the mod.
zemmy.cole 15 Dec, 2022 @ 12:17am
can you make mass effect: beyond the relays require no DLC?
binaryhelixmods  [author] 14 Dec, 2022 @ 10:06pm
@Heckaroni - not sure to be honest. This hasn't been tested with any of those, so I can't say what to expect compatibility wise
Heckaroni 12 Dec, 2022 @ 1:13am
does Guilli's Planet Modifiers and Features mess with the mod?
Puckhead73  [author] 10 Dec, 2022 @ 4:55pm
@Zemmy - We've not released 1.0 yet, but it will be compatible with the latest version of Stellaris. We'll have more info on a release date soon!
zemmy.cole 8 Dec, 2022 @ 6:42pm
where is mass effect: beyond the relays and is it 3.61?
Puckhead73  [author] 2 Dec, 2022 @ 5:48pm
Thanks Sween! Once we get 1.0 of Beyond the Relays released I will be updating the fixes included in it back over to BtW here, so stay tuned.
sween270 1 Dec, 2022 @ 2:48pm
I noticed with the Tropical bioluminescent subclass isn't displaying correctly. The ground area is there but he sky is all black.
Puckhead73  [author] 23 Nov, 2022 @ 11:25am
That's a good call Gumbar, we've been intending to hide the uninhabitable icons for BtR, something I forgot for BtW. It'll be in the next update, which will also include a couple corrections on issues with artwork and some much needed refinement and optimization on the planetary events on galaxy generation (won't have the long loading time the first time you load in anymore)
gumbar 19 Nov, 2022 @ 8:48am
Nonetheless, I like the work. :-)
gumbar 19 Nov, 2022 @ 8:46am
Please hide uninhabitable planets, the whole map becomes confusing 600+ systems. Please make sure that the AI does not get the idea to colonize these planets. The AI only knows more, even 0.01 is more than 0.
binaryhelixmods  [author] 10 Nov, 2022 @ 4:05pm
That's actually probably on us for not explaining more clearly, they're not intended to appear on every single world, there's basically a 20% chance that it'll be no subclass, or a 20% chance for each of the individual subclasses.
binaryhelixmods  [author] 9 Nov, 2022 @ 10:27pm
New update posted - should correct the issues of planets receiving multiple subclasses, as well as added the missing background for hothouse worlds.
Puckhead73  [author] 1 Nov, 2022 @ 3:57pm
Thanks for the feedback! We'll look into it and figure out what's going on.
Gatzek 1 Nov, 2022 @ 12:35pm
I launched vanilla + only your mod. The subclass modifier does not appear on every planet. In the Sol system, no planet has a subclass.

He appears on almost every planet Eye and Shifty Looking Cow.

Venus does not have an image of the planet's surface.

I second Gatzek's comment.

I also encountered the rare planetary feature named "the eye" on almost every habitable world.
I first thought that it is due to the fact that I use this mod and GPM as well.

But after turning off GPM this "eye" bug still remains in new games.
binaryhelixmods  [author] 1 Nov, 2022 @ 11:29am
@gatzek - Definitely sounds like a bug with The Eye, we'll give it a look. As for subclasses, they should be appearing as planetary modifiers on each planet. We haven't planned on any compatibility with mods like GPM, so if you're not seeing them that might be why.
Gatzek 1 Nov, 2022 @ 9:47am
Enjoy playing with your mod, good job. I have two questions:

1. On every habitable planet, I have a rare planetary feature - The Eye. Is it supposed to be or is it a mistake?
2. How can I check the planet subclass?

I also think Guilla Planetary Modifiers remove your planet modifiers. For example, where there are no GPM modifiers, I see Dextro-amino chilarity. If there are GPM modifiers then there is no Dextro-amino chilarity.

Thanks for relieving the trauma of mining for Iridium. Love, Mordin.
maximustrajan23 29 Oct, 2022 @ 12:45pm
so one of my favorite mods to use is the Real Space "Cluster" mod, which allows you to use a "cluster" of stars, as opposed to more traditional spiral galaxies and elliptical, its actually not a galaxy at all, since we cannot use the Real Space mod with this, is there going to be anything similar with this mod? Ori guess make REal Space compatible with this mod? It seems pretty neat!
arieviloj 26 Oct, 2022 @ 5:03pm
@Maréchal, nous voilà! why?

@Destroyer of Worlds it should be compatible with Dynamic UI as basically everyone on the team uses it. If you run into any issues let us know but its been running fine for us so far.
The Destroyer of Worlds 23 Oct, 2022 @ 7:25pm
Does this work with UI overhaul?
