@Dark Piss Man Unfortunately not anytime soon, I'm currently busy with my degree and have another mod i'm focused on, as i regard this one complete. However from what i gather it shoudlnt be that hard to make, by adding a few extra textures. I think you would be able to make it if you look up how to :)

@Phonicmas Dub's Paint Shop compatibility without it painting the whole suit, covering up the secondary (gold) color. Any chance could you make that happen?

Looks like the recipeMaker for the two helmets is marked Inherit="False", but you're not setting a workSpeedStat, which would otherwise be inherited (as GeneralLaborSpeed) from ArmorMachineableBase. This is causing pawns to instead use their WorkSpeedGlobal stat to make these, making them take *substantially* longer to craft than their work amount would suggest. Could you please either add the workSpeedStat tag to the recipeMaker, or inherit it?

Why does the prestige version give more than the normal version? I feel like it should give the same, plus, of course, the prestige effects - like the other prestige variants.

@Bas_AI yes if you have a title from royalty it counts as royal clothing for them

dose this armor count towards required clothing for someone with a title my mechonator can become a countess and i want to know if this armor would satisfy clothing requirements

@theothersteve7 no worries, i don't really see a problem so long it's not a direct copy, which sounding from you it isn't, i mostly made this as a service for others so with balancing regards i'm altering the stats by the general concensus. This was just my first small mod anyway and is not a big deal.

I was already mostly done with my mod by the time I thought to check and saw this one. Honestly I doubt the two of us are the only ones who are going to be making this armor in the long run anyway. It's a pretty obvious addition.

Also this frees up @Phonicmas if you'd like to buff the psychic stats.

good idea but for the mechlord armor/helmet, an increase from 12 to 13 is already good enough, i think 14 is just to imba... for mech commander helmet it is just nice, good job bro

You all make some compelling arguments and have nerfed the psychic gain to on par with the other prestige armor and reduced bandwitdh :)

Seems a little overtuned in my opinion. The Prestige versions of the marine armors aren't noticeably better than the normal versions (besides the psychic sensitivity)

Also, the psychic bonus being better than prestige cataphract also seems off. Being a mechanator is a trade off from wearing Cataphract armor, it shouldn't be a direct improvement over it.

I'll probably end up making my own mod along these lines, I don't want to make the game easier with mods, just to fill gaps that I feel should have been included in the first place.

@Thorium_Axolotl You're completely right, it's a rather big increase, i don't know if it's too much as i havn't played all too much with the mech thingies, i hope it's not to much, if so it can be patched away or lessened.

I don't think a 33% and a 50% increase to bandwidth is a slight increase, especially considering the buffed psychic bonuses on top of that- although the vanilla prestige armor bonuses always felt a bit underwhelming.

So happy about this, I don't know why it didn't count as prestige armour in the base game. I'm still playing around with Biotech to figure it out and I like a lot of it but the lack of interaction with the other DLCs is incredibly annoying. The fact that there are no ideology precepts around mechanoids, children, or gene modding is very disappointing along with the fact that the mechLORD armour isn't fit for a lord somehow. Tynan talked about how he wanted to hear stories about Royal Faction Leader Sanguphage Mechlords but none of those things really interact with each other in any way.

Have you tried Vanilla Psycasts Expanded? They added a new material called Eltex, which is patched to be required for prestige armors. Could you add a compatibility patch?
