Not to leech off this comment section but my sub mod for this mod has a setting for africa to be either playable or colonise-able!
I've been customising this mod somewhat, I've bumped aggression up and then I'm looking to see if I can't promote the AI's use of the Expand Core Territory and Unify [Country] (And expand the number of countries it can unify into). Maybe mess with infamy a fair bit too to promote greater aggression.
I mean, it's never 0 because you get an SoL expectation boost from literacy and tech, but the base level is 0 on every class.
I cant follow. What SoL requirements do you mean? I dont recall doing anything of that kind
(even considering it had multiple bugs at "mid and late" game)
(my delivery got postponed so I couldnt continue my irl renovation so instead this got renovated lol)
Will try to look into it this week but no promises
just imagine the thousands of treaties u could do with every nation
@regarding your pink face events, that sounds like a vanilla bug to me, if you encounter that again I would need the event names since its not every event from what I read
Personally I tested this mod as a standalone without better politics and still had the issue.
I would give you a better direction but I'm busy with other stuff, maybe try the modding discord ?
They will pinpoint what to edit faster than I can.
Usually with this mod and aggro at max the are at least 3 or 4 military powers per continent that try to overrun neighbours in the "early" game.
Good job updating the mod @Caracus
@Sanosuke they can hardly publish a fixed 1.8 version if I havent published that version yet ;)
@Mon thank you very much. I had an exlusion for the charater templates as that cause issues some patches ago if you didnt have the tags they are targeting. So I had to have a version of the default template which they changed enough from 1.7 to 1.8 so that some new characters created were missing values. Ive removed the exclusion now and wont need to maintain the default template anymore.
But I get what you did.
Which is really consistent with all the character mods having issues.
Not sure what is up with that or why it seems to happen too on shatter mods... but it's Paradox so probably something is borked in the vanilla game...
