(im NOT forcing ANYBODY to make a mod for this. I made this a little joke not to actualy make this mod)
In the meantime, it sounds to me like one of two things. If it's a buzzer sound, then the sound file's missing and you might have to reinstall. If it sounds like the Sonic Spinball panic sound, then you might have Eustace in his no-voice mode, which relies on a global variable that might've been set by another character if you didn't set it yourself. I'd have to dig in to make sure there's nothing colliding with it, thanks for the heads up!
There is, however, a Rune that makes it happen more often and cause crit damage if applied.
