You can literally change the luminosity and glare intensity of each type of light in the ALS options. While in-game, press ESC, at the bottom there's a button called 'ALS Options', then go to 'Light Options'.
no hard feeling, if you need any help let me know.
The vehicles in the (ALS) Vehicles Pack are the first ones I ever made. I was still testing scales at the time, which is why the small vehicles are way too small and the big ones are too large. It’s an old mod pack, and I don’t plan to add any new vehicles to it. I was going to delete the mod, but a lot of people still like it.
As for the Toyota light, I’ll have to check what’s going on, since it’s not supposed to behave like that.
If you want help fixing the issues you mentioned, add me on Steam and I’ll help you sort them out.
Hmm, honestly, I didn't even think to get an answer. Maybe you're right, I don't know much about modding in Teardown)
But yeah, I'm sure the ALS is installed and turned on! I don't know why it doesn't want to work. Oh, and about the dangling headlights: For example, when I try to open the trunk on a Toyota AE86, the rear lights twist.
Well, since you contacted me, I wanted to ask why the fire trucks, SWAT, tow trucks and ambulances (for example, in NYPD Vehicles Pack) are so huge? Something tells me that fire trucks are not as tall as 2 people))).
Anyway, thanks for the answer. I didn't mean to insult this mods. I like it despite all these problems)))
If you understood how Teardown works, you wouldn’t complain about the loose lights. Embedded lights turn on when entering the car and off when exiting. To control them manually, they must be separate, which causes two side effects: first the “electronics breaking” sound and secound they become grabbable. EVF uses the same method—ALS just has more lights, making it more noticeable.
If the mod isn’t detecting ALS, here’s what you can do:
1. Make sure ALS is enabled in the mod menu.
2. Ensure both ALS and the vehicle mod are updated to the latest version.
5/10 – skill issue.
The proportions match their real-life counterparts. For example, the Ford Explorer is 5.385m long, 1.443m high, and 1.963m wide. In 1:1 scale for Teardown, that’s around 53 voxels length, 14 height, and 19 width. But that looked too small in-game, so I scaled it by 1.1x, ending up with 58x15x19. I didn’t scale the width because it looked odd during modeling.
I won’t implement EVF because ALS already includes its own door locking system. It might be a bit weak in keeping doors and trunks open, but I’m planning to add an option to configure the force needed to close them. ALS also has an animation system for custom light patterns and features that EVF doesn’t have, like interior lights, car alarms, and foldable mirrors.
???
not anytime soon, I have a list of vehicles I want to add, I just don't have time to do them yet.
just a thought as i feel like there aint enough like trucks
You don't need it, I don't care about complaints as long as the complaints are constructive in some way.
but there is no spinlight in this pack.
you can press F3 while inside a ALS emergency vehicle and create you own light pattern with the new light animation system.
because you can change to literaly whatever you want now.
How about adding a rumbler mode to the siren if you can? (just a suggestion)
I'm making a map which will have some templates that you can use, and will also show you how to place the tags so that everything works as intended. but maybe it will take until the holidays for me to release it.
Can you add the ford explorer?
