For the folks having trouble below: The animal has to be able to get to the glitter-world medicine. Make sure you check your zones.

Adding this mid-run for some reason wouldn't accept already obtained glitterworld medicine but after I bought some from a trader it seemed to work fine.

There's still no way to put a downed animal into a pod, but here's as a workaround I found: you can administer administer go-juice to get animal consciousness up to un-down them and make them able to enter the pod on their own

@The Lord Pootis just get these animal prostetics mods that are out there .. on legendary might be better than original .. though a slightly morbid >_> (in case they cant stand on their own ... make them stand)

Oh god .. i need this .. got Transhumanists with supremacy and mod for OP Wolfs, they might be walking tanks, also usable as literal transport Dakar truck .. lmao although they have beefy health pool they still get slowly crippled with brain/ eye and so on scars .. which slowly take them down .. (to balance them out ... of course they are lot tougher to tame more than Thrumbos .. wildness 95% lmao taming lv10 ... true Thrumbos are 99% ... but they wont eat 2times of bear and hunt you every 2nd time you fail to tame them >_> and you bet that walking tank will kill you if it cathces your as* .. speed of 10 c/s .. though some of mine got crippled down to 60% .. so 6 c/s) moment you manage to get 2 then its just race against meat production ... unless you hoard all raider corpses in specialised grave freezer like me to feed wolfs with rough pig and waster meat combo xD

It seems you can't order a pawn to carry and put a downed animal into the biosculpter manually like you can with normal pawns and if you try to order a cycle being done from the biosculpter gizmo directly by selecting the animal, it'll just "fall" from wherever it's resting and be downed again which means you need to wait for it to at least be able to get back up on it's own which may or may not be possible if your poor animal happened to get severe brain damage due to a raid.

Would be nice if we could order our pawns to manually put animals in need into the biosculpter like with normal human pawns in case the animal in question is completely unable to stand on it's own.

@spartandued Only way to be sure is to try, but my guess in that particular case is they're unlikely to interfere with each other.

Will this work with the modded Biosculpter? Like, for example, I have the mod for resizing the Biosculpter to take up less space.

I found the source of the issue, at least for 1.4. When a biosculpter has a pawn tuned to it, it tries to check if its ideoligion has a the AgeReversal_Demanded precept so that it knows whether to show the "Auto age reversal" button or not. Since animals can't have an ideoligion, this throughs nasty errors. I'll figure out a solution and then do a pull request.

Updated for 1.5, figured out how to have it treat animal diseases and restore animal body parts, and I think I even found a workaround for the null reference exception on completed cycles.

Is anyone else experiencing an error after an animal finishing the biosculpter procedure? I think it's some kind of UI issue as it doesn't render the biosculpter options and only happens when it's on cooldown attuned to an animal.

Aw, I was looking for option to treat animal scars and found this gem. A little shame it can only reverse age at the moment but a wholesome mod regardless.

I'm not sure why exactly, but apparently the game REALLY doesn't like it when animals biotune to a biosculpter, as the biosculpter becomes unoperable until the tuning ends. Possibly a mod conflict Ill look it into it. but I wouldn't be surprised the game can't comprehend what your trying to do. I suppose if its remotely possible to just block the game from biotuning animals?

This restores a certain sense of order to a mad, mad, world.

Some day true justice will arrive and we'll all be able to "see" the mood bar of animals which has always been there but we somehow missed it because: "It's just a game dude, calm down..."

In any event, you have taken a great step towards righting a great wrong and partially fixed an oversight in the base game. Kudos.

Intrigued that negative hediffs not being recognized on animals.
