[LWOTC] Proficiency Class Pack

There is such a code in the [LWOTC] Proficiency Class Pack mod.
For some reason, I got rank 5 abilities at rank 2. And the rank images are not displayed.
What could be the problem? What are the symptoms?
I thought that another Skirmisher mod also edits, BUT at the beginning of the code block you can see that the data is being forced to zero

My problem: Templar does not have the ability to strike with gaunlets. Shoots from a pistol (secondary weapon).

Information for those who will face the same problem.
In the description of the mod "[LWOTC] Proficiency Class Pack" it is written "the plugins for the faction soldiers are only needed in case you want to use them". I did not want to use the mod "[WOTC] Proficiency Class Plugin: Templar". But in the end it was this mod that broke my Templar.
Solution: comment out or delete the lines in the [Templar X2SoldierClassTemplate] block of the XComClassData.ini file or create a similar file in a local mod with a similar block copied from LWOTC

Does [WOTC] LW2 Secondary Weapons is a requirement?
It is a requirment for [WOTC] Proficiency Class Pack

I think I managed to fix the Templar unequipped bug. it looks like the line of code in the class data is just missing a "+" at the beginning of the Allowed weapons code.
So you guys can just add in the "+" like this.
+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="gauntlet")
+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_SecondaryWeapon, WeaponType="sidearm")

Partially figured out its "+bAllowAWCAbilities=true" default is 0 for these classes which means no random AWC perks and no ability points. Setting it to true gives ability points and a 6th row of random perks. However, base LWOTC and other LWOTC classes, such as the Agent, have this set to true without a 6th xcom row so I'm not sure why these proficiency classes are special in this.

Is anyone getting a 6th row of random AWC abilities with these classes? Nothing seems off with the config settings which match up to the LWOTC settings so I'm not sure why I'm getting extra skills.

I can confirm this mod 100% breaks templars. I have no idea how to fix it, but Shard Gaulents are unequipable.

For those who have problems resetting Templar abilities, try changing this line in XComLW_Overhaul to True.
"bDisableRespeccingTemplars = false"

i dont want to use Hro plugins. I can't figure out how to turn them off. What do i need to change in a ini file?

These classes don't gain extra Ability Points , so it is rather tedious to skill one of these for a pistol, since you can only use the XCOM AP pool.

Don't want to use the Hero Plugins but don't understand exactly what needs to be changed in the ini file. My templar only has a hunker down ability during GateCrasher :(

Hey so i just recently downloaded lwotc and i'm trying to give other proficiency classes that i use the same treatment such as giving them a pistol perk tree. For example one of my favorite classes is knox's proficiency shocktrooper. i've tried adding the pistol abilities to each rank which now looks like this:

but when i start up the game and promote a soldier to shocktrooper, the 5th row for the pistol perk tree doesn't show up. it's the same 3 rows plus xcom with no scrollbar to view the pistol skills. i'd appreciate the help.

volt and fuse not costing any focus, just only two of these. rest skill doesn consume focus, don't know why this happen..

The Marksman's Sixth Sense perk for me does give the ghostwalker ability, but does not seem to give tracking aka the other half of the skill that shows enemies with 12 tiles. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this yet since most I don't think build them as holo officiers, but I have tried and thus have encountered this issue.

these classes seem to not stop getting rank ups after master sergeant for me, according to solder ap amounts, it seems theres a additional 8 ranks after msgt that arent closed off

It gets even worse, as the secondary slots are limited in options compared to the pistol slots, and overwrite the pistol options, i.e. I don;t get an option to shoot the pistol slot weapon. AND there is no pistol perk line. At least, not on the Reaper.

So a couple things I noticed. The templar still has a secondary where he is forced to equip a autopistol. Same with reaper where she is force to equip a pistol in the secondary slot. They still have a dedicated pistol slot on top of the secondary slot, kinda janky.

1. I personally thinks it works well enough. Derava is currently doing a playthru with modjam, so you can check that out to get an idea.
2. I dont really play with that class, so I cannot even begin to imagine how to LWOTC-ify it. Sorry

The two versions are just leftover from brainstorming phase. No plans of switching over, but since PCP 2.0 may drop in the future, we'll see then

Also, looking at the details, you have two versions of the LWotC perk lists, one labeled LW2. Does this mean you plan to switch over to the latter one in the future?

Two things:

1. How do you think this holds up in ModJam environment? I know PCP tends to veer towards a more even balance trend instead of the inverse curve, but obvs you also probably added a bit to them along with an extra rank.

2. Any chance, whatsoever, that you can take the Alchemist prof class that exists already, and port it to LWotC? Kiruka made an excellent chemthrower class in the Arsonist, but it would be nice to get one more inline with the PCP classes.

For the issues with missing icons for some skills, I am yet to solve the issue, but please note that the skills should work properly. it is just a visual glitch
To disable the faction soldiers, please check the instructions in the XComClassData.ini file...

@ОГУЗОК It adds new non-faction soldiers and replaces the faction ones. AFAIK faction soldiers always get replaced there is no way around it.

@MrMister I cannot speak for the author but I think you should be able to. Proficiency class plugin doesn't replace LWOTC classes and AFAIK neither does this mod. Only classes that always get replaced are faction classes there is no way around it. However if you want to prevent base classes from this mod and Proficiency class pack appearing. You should install some mod that removes them. For example: Disable any class mod

Can one use the adapted Proficiency Heroes without using the proficiency base LOWTC classes? And if not, could you make it so, please, even if as a different mod?
