This has to be an odd interaction with another mod on my list but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Has anyone else had an odd visual effect when any firefoam launcher from this mod is fired? It's a long grey bar tracking with each projectile fired. I don't think it's actually causing any problem, it's just a weird visual artifact.

Hey, I love the mod, really should be in vanilla!
Just one question, what does the quality of the items change? Is there a difference between an Awful Firefoam Sprayer and a Legendary Firefoam Sprayer? I was hoping it would reduce the cooldown or something. Again thanks for the mod!

There have been changes to the comps for reloadable apparel. Errors are being thrown when this mod and Vanilla Weapons Expanded Grenades are run together in 1.5.

To clarify: they work as vanilla if using CE. they don't take ammo, they aren't patched for melee combat, but you will still be able to use them to put out fires.

@VerteNinja You don't need it, no. You just draft a pawn with it equipped and shoot it manually at fires. Like how you manually shoot incendiary, EMP launchers and grenades. They won't automatically use them without other mods installed sadly.

Do you need to have "Pawns Use Fire Extinguishers" for this to work? I made a firefoam sprayer but no one ever uses it and I wasnt able to manually do it. Or at least couldnt figure out how to.

Just tested it for anyone that was curious, and yea it doesn't work. It turns it into a bolt action that shoots 7.62x51mm lol

Has any one used CE's auto patcher on this mod and if so does it work. Doesn't need to be perfect I'd just like these for putting out fires (obviously)

Or does it brick your game if CE is enabled with this?

This mod is absolutely wonderful with a mod that automatically switches to tools, like Simple Sidearms. I have 3 pawns who are kitted out for firefighting and it's so funny watching them automatically switch between sprayers and grenades between cooldowns to just absolutely smother wildfires with explosions

@Schandefreude Base game grenades have infinite ammo, but are equipped as weapons. The grenade belts from Vanilla Weapons Expanded are equipped to the utility slot instead, but the trade off is that they have limited uses and need to be reloaded. To reload a specific grenade belt (ex: Firefoam grenade belt), you simply need to craft more grenades of that type (ex: Firefoam grenades) and pawns should then pick up new grenades automatically

@Happy Sadly not right now, maybe in the future. For now you'll have to use another mod such as Auto Tool Switcher. I haven't used it myself but I believe marking the firefoam weapons as tools in it's settings allows non-violent pawns to equip them.

Add one that also can spew fire and switch modes, now that would make an interesting raiding and base defense tool. Make it kind of lackluster in both, though

I love this mod :p fires are like fun and reasonable to put out now, especially forest fires outside the home area.

It's ok if you haven't figured out how to make non violent paws equip the firefoam things, since Auto tool switcher allows the player to pick which weapons are considered tools, therefore can be equiped by non-violent pawns.

@Ediolan Slaves don't seem to pick them up in rebellions from my quick testing. They do however count as weapons, meaning pacifists cannot use them - That's something I'd like to fix somewhat soon.

@dickmosi Thanks! I'm baffled this isn't core in the game, considering fire spreads like crazy and the Mechanoids constantly light everything up including the colonists. The original Firefoam Popper sucks in that it's stationary/single use and the newly added Firefoam pack is single use -_-:steamsad:

The art is really well done and it fits the vanilla vibe. Thanks again, great job :steamthumbsup:

@The Blind One Yeah, when I originally started the mod in April, it included a belt but I removed it due to the new firefoam pack being added. I haven't got any plans to add a belt I'm afraid, they would of functioned nearly identically anyway.

@Dickmosi I think 'The' meant a firefoam pop belt like vanilla expanded does belts for various items. They are multi-use rechargable items rather than single use like in vanilla 1.4
