hi, maybe a dumb follow up question to the previous one. can you still make branches on ascended empires if you have ascended yourself?

This is an intended design that is similar to Fallen Empires.

Hi there, I noticed that Ascended (Normal) Empires do not allow others to start branch offices but supposedly, Ascended MegaCorps can make branch offices without commercial pacts. Should Ascended MegaCorps be able to start branch offices in Ascended (Normal) Empires?

This is making MegaCorp playthroughs difficult: if I am in a federation and someone ascended, I immediately lose a bunch of branch offices, which seems weird: eventually, everyone ascended and I (the MegaCorp) am left with no possible branch offices.

Thank you for the report, Corrupted Court has been fixed with a few other minor issues around it.

As for Criminal Heritage, I've added a feature to "return" the civic on re-ascension, it should work for old save files but that requires you to add the civic automatically -> save game -> load game -> save game -> then from lost empire to ascended empire.

That's an issue with the base mod, while we can't do much about it. We'll check for remedies.

Yes. After renouncing it and taking it back, it game me a bunch of perks, but criminal heritage was not included.

Since you seem to be the best option to ask this, are you able to resolve the issue where ascended criminal empires that lose ascension also lose their criminal heritage civic and cannot get it back? Like adding in a proxy civic that does the same, or just letting ascended empires build both kinds of buildings?

As an ascended empire I cannot build the corrupted court building. I have other mods installed, like ACOT, Merger of Rules, and Acquisition of Technology, in case those are what's causing conflicts.

Hello, I've released a patch that address the issue, the problem was that I accidentally override the default trade conversion instead of adding for it, hopefully this is fixed now, and thank you for the bug report!

Проблема заключается в том, что вы заменили требование для политики Торговой Лиги и из-за этого она перестала работать без цивика вообще. Если у меня нет цивика что даёт мне сплавы за счёт торговой ценности, то я в принципе не могу использовать политику Торговой Лиги потому как она не имеет никакого эффекта.

Unfortunately, it overwrites a game rule, regarding branch office establishment, if you have a mod like Merger of Rules, it's likely the issue. The mod was made in mind without any other mods, we'll talk to the Merger of Rules creator if he could add like support for this.

Hi, I've added a global flag

"zofe_megacorp_installed" is added at the beginning of the game.

Either check that global flag or simply call has_zofe_mc = yes
