It's impossible if you play on Expert difficulty. I play on Advanced & it's hard but not impossible. You have to play it this way. First get 4 guns. The first gun you get, shoot a bullet, then you can equip another gun. Then get a bile jar & throw it over the wall. Keep throwing bile every 20 or 25 seconds, this will paralize the common zombies. Then build the medicine locker & open it. The idiot bots will keep getting hammered by chargers but they will survive if they have the pills. Then unlock the gas can if you have time. Use it to burn the Tank when it appears. Then unlock the ammo pile. Then you are in a good position to win. Don't waste time building the rocket until you have some good protection & fire power. Don't stay in the warehouse for too long after the Tank dies otherwise you will get overwhelmed. So remember, Guns, Bile, Pills, Ammo.
Also is the following a bug or intentional?: if the bile jars are overused, they stop attracting the zombies until pipes are thrown. I can see it being intentional to discourage complete reliability on them. Like how you buffed the M60.
It wouldn't be difficult to do but would it be worth it? I can't see any use for it unless I see people wasting time trying to activate the electicity when it's already activated. Generally speaking people can see the fence is elactrified.
In that case I have a suggestion, when all of the fences are built AND you activate electric fence, then it should be black/used.
It originally was L4D2 characters, I changed it to the old characters. You can make your own version with the new charecters, it's easy if you know how to unpack the .vpk files.
The difficulty level is fair in a standard game.
The pill locker, and ammo pile placements are improvements.
There is an "AMMO PILE" button on the left side of the Technology panel, it's just under the "AIR TANK". This creates two ammo piles on the ground in front of the control desk.
10/10
It should update automatically. If it doesnt, then un-subscribe to it in the Steam Workshop, re-start the game & re-subscribe.
It's too stressfull. The problem is making a map that is intersesting & exciting that works with bots. If I want to make a map in which the bots don't do stupid things all the time I have to make it boring, which I don't want to do.
Usually the map I think. It often happens to me with my other maps. I seems suprising to me that I can't join my own map.
the map, game version or both
That usually means you are trying to join a map that is a different version.
Feels so much nicer to run in single player!
Try it now. There are still a lot of zombies but I don't think they are overwhelming.
alright i will wait until the crash will be patched
(also put "@" instead of "to")
I will see about reducing the zombies. It doesn't crash my game but it does make it lag.
I can't make any changes at the moment to any maps, my copy of Steam stopped working last week & I can't fix it. After a few plays of the map you get to know what the buttons do without having to read them but I do agree with you that the computer station should be bigger & less cramped.
Melts rotting flesh and all the dust out of my computer
I could reduce the number of common infected, but would it still be exciting?
For god sake man, it's the bare minimum, jesus christ.
- There's a single new upgrade called "Electric Fence" (does exactly what you'd expect)
- Fences can now be opened by interacting with them
- Bot and zombie pathing seems to be improved, bots will now actually enter the rocket once it's done
- Finishing the rocket causes the game to spawn a massive amount of tanks to force you to leave
- Constructable items inside the building make more sense and are actually worth doing
- Constructing barriers in/near the building takes less time
- Equipping already unlocked items now takes 3 seconds instead of 5 seconds
- Building the rocket went from 20 seconds to 14 seconds per piece (thank god)
- The M60 is now unusable (unlock: 35s to 60s; equip 15s to 60s), very bizarre change
Overall: This is a very slight reworking of an old, iconic map. The changes are an improvement, but not massively so.
