The code needs to be recompiled and I'm waiting on a bug fix so it's not suggested to play with the mod since there might be unexpected errors, but that's just my warning. Enjoy the dwarves in space.

I did a little test and it looks like all the xenotypes mods from DetVisor are working fine on 1.6. Maybe I missed something, but I spawned all the xenotypes, start new save - everything looked fine.

hey all, love this mod, trying to get it to work with rimhamer end times for a kharadron overlords tech dwarf play through, but for some reason whenever i do the xenotypes body stops rendering. for both stone folk and for stone born. really annoying, i have tried tonnes of fixes. here is my modlist (This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

anyone experienced this?

CE is an overhaul, overhaul mods have so many problems, not even worth downloading them if you want to use a lot of mods.

Pardon my ignorance, but why wouldn't this be compatible with CE? Does it have to do with the health of the xenotype or something?

Noticed a similar thing to @Good Old Jim. Looking through the defs, it seems like the faction's <techlevel> is listed as ultra instead of industrial. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if this actually has any effect on the game such as loadouts, but it did run into a problem for me with certain mods that consider techlevel, in my case Ignorance is Bliss, which prohibits them doing anything until my colony reaches ultra tech (or I turn off the mod's restrictions).

Regardless, thank you for your work on these! The Det xenos have become mainstays in my playthroughs along with Biotech Expansion and the VE ones. Wouldn't feel the same without them!

Guys, I haven't tested it personally, but the "World Tech Level" mod should be removing anything higher than the tech you set it to spawning, including raids.

But again, I haven't tested it, I dont know what it does to dwarf raids, if it effects them at all. But theoretically it should.

I really wish there was a medieval faction for these guys or industrial, I like to play industrial-locked worlds which basically prohibits me from experiencing the dwarves :steamsad:

Anyway we could get an option in mod menus to set them as a Medieval faction instead of an ultratech? Its causing their raids to bring Mortars to my otherwise Medieval locked world lmao.

I mean that IS a VERY dwarf thing to do. But still.

Hey, this should be CE compatible. None of the traits affect shooting, armor, etc. And they patched Stoneborn Delights so should check out.

@imperator: I personally hate the psychically deaf gene, and use Resource Dictionary to combine it with Psychically Dull, so everytime Deaf would show up it gets replaced with Dull.

Now my Stoneborn can use those snazzy new Rune psycasts :3

@Shade I don't know but maybe you can just start a save without any tech-limitation mods/story-tellers but just use cherry-picker to delete all non-medieval tech item from the game ?

So, apparently, sense the Stoneborn faction counts as industrial, medieval mods/storytellers cuck them out of existence! Is there any way to knock stoneborn to medieval/prior tech levels?

You can harvest the gene, not the organ. If you were to implant a genetically different liver the pawn would die of rejection after not even a day because it is not adapted to handling the modified organ. With the gene, the pawn's actual genes change so their own liver is modified.

I don't know if it can be changed, or if it was changed, but if not, could you please make their infertility age later? because I got a 47yo female that was infertile, but don't really know if it was because of age or what (no idea how to check). Also Idk how much longer the live for, but I got a 60-70yo pawn with 3 old people health problems, so, if possible, could you please increase the age in which they start getting problems since they live for longer?

This mod is near perfection ! But i need to ask why are stoneborn are psychically deaf and not dull ? In every universe i know dwarves use magic or psychic power with object or limited magic power from mage. There are not completely Deaf to the use of magic. And in rimworld if you are psychically deaf, it's complicated for created a mechanitor or becoming noble in the empire for psychic power.

oh i now reading Now I understand everything and I hope that det and sarg can fix this bug breaking but I'm happy for the excellent work that was created by you, det and mods of sarg too :3
