Definitely learned a lot while building it and if I make a Mk2 or a more combat/price optimized version, I have a list of changes I would want to make. Thrust might be the one thing I adjust and update on this ship, but anything beyond that would be a full overhaul and a new ship design.
I'd suggest you make your interceptor a bit faster, as it would've won, had it been able to close the distance. Maybe get rid of some of the backwards facing large shields and rely on thruster cover or back facing PD instead. That should save a lot of money that can be put into thrust.

Thx for the praise. Your ship can probably deal with mist things because it's likely good at orbiting, being a diagonal design.
Also, thank you! I'm a fan of your ships too. One of the many things I appreciate is the consistency of your paint scheme among your whole fleet. This was actually designed to fill much the same combat role as your Lisboa, which may or may not have inspired this build...! >.>
Not designed to take heavy direct fire, but an excellent support addition to your fleet that can brush off a few hits while it flanks behind enemies to cripple them while your main Destroyer engages them from the front. Or, at least, that's how I use it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
