maybe a bug ?? idk
Hey, that is odd.
Are you positive you killed a combine (grunt or officer) with a headshot?
What mods are you using apart from Dismemberment?
Did you try the Dismemberment Beta here?

Hey,
it should be working together, but double-check if it's still the case. This mod creates some temporary decals on the ground where the blood lands, but it doesn't create any bloodpools.

That is already a feature - the effects may be further customised in the 'experimental beta' version. It also includes more particle options.

Thank you very much for pointing out this issue. It should be now fixed.
I uploaded the update to the 'Dismemberment Beta' version of the mod, so let me know if it solved the issue for you and if there are no other bugs introduced with the update.

Yes.
Hey, unfortunately it's currently not planned for the heavier Combine variants, but if I happen to make the required models for a future project, then I'll implement it into this mod as well.
Im on my first playthrough but as far as I know I should be able to do so afterwards.
Thanks for the fast reply!
Hey,
In case you're using the mod in the campaign, you should make sure you started it with addons enabled (When creating new game, clicking "Start Game with Addons"). You should also probably try to create the savefile after enabling the mod, as I'm not entirely sure if new mods can be activated on existing savefile.
There's also the possibility that another mod is interfering with this one, so disabling all other mods and then testing which one is giving you trouble could work too.
The work you did looks pretty cool but it's a shame it won't work for me and Ibcabt really tell what I do wrong.
I subscribed to this mod and activated in in the ingame addons tab but combines still keep their shit (or body) together under the pressure of explosions.
Is there a reason to that or (even better) a solutions?
Hey,
if you're interested in more blood particle options, feel free to check the "beta" / "extended" version of this mod here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2904827638
It allows for basically any particle in the game / from a custom addon to be set instead of the particles that are currently used.
It also includes few more presets - for instance making the blood use actual fluid physics, but that is unfortunately quite demanding on performance (which is also why a better performing variant was used in this main version).
Though I will say that the current version will still probably be the most preferable.
i hope you update this later with support for gibbing zombies then this mod will be perfect
