The exclamations and question marks are basically just re-skinned pieces of paper. If I had to guess, it could be due to lots of writing? The way the game holds information on things can lead to some silly outcomes at times. Appreciate the heads up! :)
Some use the words memory leak becasue it seems to get worse with time. I personally haven't experienced this but it's prevalent enough that I want to address it.
I've got video that shows examples of it. I'm curious if this is a known thing or if there's another reason for it. I'm in full troubleshooting mode so please share if there's a reason or solution for this.
I would change it, but the main reason I haven't is because with 36k people currently subbed to this mod, I would hate to force everyone to update their servers, mods, etc. Odds are I wont update until I can think of anything else that would fit neatly into this mod

@Grasshopper, i got the same issue with the Vanilla notes. I can write them once in my inventory and then put them somwhere. Than the text is saved. But when i edit them on the ground or after placing them the first time, the editet text will change back to the first state. Thats why is just write them once and if i have to change the text, i just use a new empty one and replace the old one. Maybe this helps.
The issue is that the file name for our 3D models matched exactly with the way that Aza labeled their files... Great minds think alike I suppose
@Captain Brandon, thanks for helping me figure out the issue!
@LineTinzer The mod description clarifies that it is open to use for anyone that would like to use it! Sorry for not replying sooner- Hopefully you just went for it haha
