I will keep it as you have intended with your mod. I will leave those other settings default. Your mods have become that extended layer of depth ontop of SFO and vanilla when SFO is out of commission. Thank you for response.

Nah it'd be fine. Would reduce t1 melee from 200% to 150%, t2 melee from 150% to 100% and other troops from 100% to 50%,

If I were to adjust the experience gained setting in the SFO menu to any option (example: experience gain is 50% slower) would that disrupt the function of this mod or would those slow down effects compound? If we aren't supposed to mess with those settings I am assuming we keep that setting default for this mod to work as intended?

Updated so accuracy is better implemented, now units will get a flat +10 to accuracy for each level rather than based on their default accuracy (which is essentially zero).

Mostly, youll still get the increased bonus stats, but if theyre a low tier melee unit they wont get the exp boost, and the mod may have recruit rank bonuses which may circumvent the veterancy climb somewhat

Checked the packfile for the error you were having on the 28th and there is no entry in the packfile with that name, so i think its just a download issue on steams end not getting your files properly updated, hope its fixed itself :)

I just had a check doing the same thing you are, and its working fine for me, i'd suggest doing a validation of your game files and try again.

Please dont change mod load orders, theyre named the way they are to put them in the correct load order already, if a mod asks you to change load orders the modder doesnt have a clue what theyre doing :)

Just started my first Elspeth campaign with this mod (at the top of the load order). It appears all the +rank technologies, buildings, and hero/lord skills are enabled. Switched over to Franz, also all enabled. Grimgor, also all enabled.

My previous campaign (Grimgor) was with pre-patch SFO and pre-patch this mod, and it was working fine, but now it doesn't seem to be on.

Note, since I'm reporting two issues. Previous campaign was pre-5.1 and before yesterday. The Tech Boyzzerror was reported for my new 5.1 campaign.

CORRECTION. Ok, so last time I disabled it after the first error and when I later reenabled it, the error didn't happen again.

This time I did not disable it after the error and the error recurred every time I started TWWH3. So, after the first few times, I disabled it, started TWWH3, no error, exited, reenabled the mod, started TWWH3, no error.

Didn't have to unsub/resub, just turned it off in the mod manager then back on.

Happened again and I took the chance to grab the error. It's grn_tech_orc_1grn_tech_boyz_exp in table technology_effects_junction_tables and pack file rare_powerful_veterancy_sfo.pack.

I don't know what causes it. 19 times out of 20 when the game starts there is no issue. This has only happened twice in 3 days.

Is there any chance for a WH2 backport? There isn't really a similar mod there that works as well. Asking as well for the attrition matters mod incase you won't see my other message. Regardless, thanks for the mod!

Reverted back to scaling values, slightly different than before. Was really unbalancing some units balanced around lower base stats but balanced by higher hp/ward save etc.. where they would become powerhouses super easily, unable to be touched, especially on units with regeneration.

Odd. I was having the CTD but resubbing to the mod fixed the issue for me before the Jun 17th update.

Thank you for making. I really enjoy this with SFO and a couple of your other mods.

Tried resubbing and moving the mod around in the order, including to the top. Didn't help. Removing the mod fixed the CTD issue.

Getting CTD on startup with this mod. Error message:

Its working for me, it should be the one thats updated ~7 hours ago, not 3 days. I'd suggest usign a mod manager and forcing download, verify game files perhaps.

This caused a crash when I used it with the current released version of SFO. Un-subbed and re-subbed. It gave me a specific notification that the mod failed and then booted me.

SFO in general reduces them considerably compared to vanilla, but apart from that not really - i think generally its to help when replacing/making new armies so you dont always have to start from 0 but it can get a lot especially for certain factors :)
