Until then guess ill keep an eye on this since I for one want to feed elves and goblins to tamed prehistoric monsters
I'll just head-canon that the dinosaurs caravans use come from other frontier forts like mine.
And Elves would still have access to dinos?
I'm imagining a setting where dinos are super wild and dangerous, and my fort deep in the wilderness is the first time dwarfs are interacting with dinos. Like, if the characters in the Arthur Conan Doyle book The Lost World were dwarfs striking the earth!
* There are no descriptors for them, it merely remarks on their scale color. Thus all dino people sort of look alike.
* Strength seems to not be figuring right; for whatever reason as a spinoman or rexman I can barely hold 77 burden with high strength when human characters can hold 90-100. They are for whatever reason physically weaker than humans and struggle greatly in this aspect. I don't dabble in creature modding so I have no clue what is causing this.
*Australopithecus is mute and incapable of learning, when they could can [UTTERANCES] with [CAN_SPEAK] to reflect that they can make sounds out of their mouth but cannot speak "common"; they did in fact speak and used simple tools
Weird thing though, juvenile Saltopus appear with a mirror image of the adult sprite beneath them. Is this intentional or did you put that on there as comparison and forget to take it off? I'm playing heavily modded otherwise but I wouldn't think that'd affect dino sprites.
I might change my mind on portraits if I find a way to get decent ones, though.
@Gecko Thank you, glad you're enjoying it! Unfortunately, I don't expect the sprites to change much more. Clearly, I'm not an artist, and updating the art fully would require getting someone to commit to replacing the thousands of sprites.
