I play it once in awhile. It's a complete overhaul of a mission, either way. And it's an amazing mission on it's own.

Replay-ability is peak. And so is this.

Had a really great time with this one! My favorite part was the soundtrack selection, every song worked was placed phenomenally. Encounters were really fun and nearly all the additions are amazing!

I have three nitpicks tho:
1) You are given way too many allies that it erases any sense of challenge whenever they are with you. I'd say cut down about a third and it would feel less like the game is playing itself (although it did lead to some pretty cool moments).
2) I hate shielded grunts, which is just a personal thing. Giving them a shield goes against their design philosophy in my opinion. I say forgo the shield and bump up their health a tad.
3) The end kinda fizzled out. The large group of heretic hunters and sword elites kinda took my out of the experience. That's the one encounter I'd rework because it feels out of place.

Other than those three things, outstanding job! Best of luck in future endeavors.

Yeah I wanted to try and imply that the Heretics dug too deep when they were excavating Halo's wreckage and whatever flood biomass might have survived formed the Juggernauts there. I'd like to figure out a way to convey that idea a lot better later down the line

Mission was a banger, hoping we can see the Sacred Icon tie in sometime as well. Only weird things to me were the presence of several Juggernauts but no regular Flood, and the surprising lack of humans up until the very end. 9/10 will play again.

Nice work Sgt Stacker! I really loved all the cut weapons/vehicles/NPC's. I wonder if there'd be any way to rework Halo 2 to somehow add this level to the campaign in between The Oracle and Delta Halo like how it was supposed to be in the old Halo 2 storyboards, though I guess it wouldn't make much sense to have essentially the same level twice.

I noticed a few bugs:
I tried driving the Heretic Spectres but none of the NPC's would hop on them with me.
I saw a Brute riding on the side of Halfjaw's Specter after they were dropped in and he was pulling a T-pose, do these Brutes not have an animation for riding shotgun?
Maybe it's just me, but the Fuel Rod Specter gunner REALLY sucks at aiming, I imagine this is to compensate for it being OP but I don't think it ever hit anything smaller than a Wraith, I would sit completely still and wait for him to hit something but he always fired way off to the side. The bois riding shotgun wound up doing most of the heavy lifting in combat.

I've noticed the AI just stands around and stops working at times. Is this a known issue? There's also some other issues like the Sentinel Needler using H2U's HUD positioning, Miranda pulling out SMGs to start with the cutscence but then switching to PRs. And other things. I'd say the mod also has problems with being too difficult, but maybe that's just vanilla Halo 2 Heroic doing me in. I also find it hard to really understand what's going on. I appreciate the effort you put into this, though. And all the assets you made for it/put into it.

Oooo, are you gonna make Delta Halo and Regret in the same style as what you had for Alphamoon? Or a different theme, but with the same groups involved? Either way, I really look forwards to it. You've made some really good mods, with the scale of battle much bigger, I look forwards to seeing the scale of these new ones too.

No problem! I'd like to hear what you think about my ideas as well if you'd be interested in something like that? Or expanding the Humans in this mod at all beyond the very end? I think it'd be a fun mixture to have Heretics and Humans fighting the Covenant, throughout the whole mission.

Ah whoops, I think it's because the old heretic spectres were just the covenant ones with the "damaged" permutation applied to them. I'll get that fixed up right now, thanks for letting me know!

Update seems fine on the most part, the changes makes sense, and the Heretic Spectre looks nicer. Only thing that seems off, is the area that has the Covenant Shadow after you leave the Sentinel Foundry, a few of the Heretic Spectres are without their guns, spawning in. Besides that though, everything seems good.

Even if there's a problem with making a 1st person model work, could even do it in 3rd person. Lot of mods are doing that lately, but it works well!

Update's working fine, gotta say, this mod's outstanding. Gives me a fun idea, honestly. Imagine this mod from the human's point of view, given this is sort of 'debunked,' non-canon stuff, it'd be fun to play as maybe a Marine or an ODST survivor from Installation 04, communicating and working with the Heretics fighting against the Covenant, like 343 suggested them to do in that one anniversary terminal, the story more or less going along the lines as the Heretic Leader agreeing with him, and doing so. Probably would be difficult though, as it'd make sense for the mission to start at the end and go to the beginning, map-wise, but I'm sure starting from the same point and going to the end just like in the normal mission could work, too.

Yeeeeah, unfortunately it's gonna take a little while longer to update this. Halo 2's editing kit has a terrible "resource" system, which basically means that if you make a copy of a map and edit it, your backup will end up broken because of it. So I basically have to remake all the AI encounters from the ground up before I can update it.

I absolutely love this mod, debunked or not, a whole campaign with this level of overhaul would probably be the 'go-to modded Halo 2' experience, above even Vengeful's.
