The December 22nd 2024 version of Anthrosonae on Skymods works
When running 1.5 with nothing but:
Pre-Patcher and/or Harmony
Core
Royalty
Ideology
Biotech
Hugslib
Vanilla Expanded Framework
Anthrosonae

A baseliner pawn losing their head will cause all pawns to become invisible on the map, so long as the headless pawn is on screen. The log will fill with the error:

Ive been having this issue ever since the most recent update for this mod (still playing in 1.5) where almost every time a pawn dies, whenever their corpse is on screen every pawn and animal becomes invisible (including the corpse), and it seems to be regardless of whether or not a pawn has any anthrosonae genes

@LunarstarFurry as long as I know, yes, this is a very lightweight mod despite being so versatile and hight quality, so there's only options about debug, gene inheritance, and a few other small things

Wow! This mod blows my mind with how advanced it is with fur color implementation. My wife and I are trying to re-implement and extend some of the discontinued Orassans fur via genes at https://github.com/scradampoop/RimWorldCheech .

Thanks so much for bundling your mod source code into the mod. It looks like I can learn a LOT from your code. I like how you're using a compound red/green mask on the fur layer, and I like how you track a pawn's fur colors via an extension. This is the first I've seen either of those things done, but then again, I'm extremely new to RW modding in general.

Is it just me, or is this Anthrosonae mod kind of far above and beyond any other fur color and texture mod on the workshop as far as customizability and complexity goes? Are there any other mods I should check out as well to help me learn cool things I might be able to do with pawn fur coats?

At the moment we only support pawn editor and Ideology's styling table, but in the next update we may expand that to other mods.

how do I manually choose their color for prepare carefully ? I'm getting kind of annoyed by the fact that I'm preparing a big colony and when I reload a preset to contunue then every color of fur is randomized again so I need to redo every colonist again

is there no way you could make it so the fur color is defined by the skin color of the base system when using the prepare carefully mod ?

I've tracked down the bug Moss and I are experiencing: it's an incompatibility between this mod and RJW Animations. It only occurs when two pawns are joined together.
A change in the graphical management of this mod has broken it.

I'm in 1.5 and I have the same error that Moss, I dont know if is related, but when I'm looking in the social tab in Character Editor the social tab is empty, and needs don't have moods, I will give you more details if I can.
Also, there is any chances to download the prebious version?

They are uncommon, but should occasionally show. Depends on the faction. Outlanders and pirates will have some, but empire don't.

I am not sure if this is actually working for me - in 1.6 should these show up in the "premade" xenotypes in the Xenotype Editor? I can see the individual genes, but have yet to encounter one in raids/visitors.

Seems to error out when used with Pawn Editor. Throws an error and makes the pawn invisible if I even change the gender.
