Not sure I like all of the visual style here (it's interesting, but a bit uneven, though the big outdoor vista and the anti-trap are for sure gorgeous), but wow , this might be the "purest" tweak of any chamber I've seen. The tiniest of changes resulting in such a big twist, I love it!

Not that difficult to figure out (which is good for my brain-damaged-by-work self atm), but the "pure pureness" of the tweak is nuts. Much better than P1's own advanced 14 was, for sure.

Quite the take on the P1 chamber. Awesome aesthetics too. Makes you wonder “what the fuck is Aperture Science doing???”
I should’ve recorded a blindrun for this but didn’t since I read the description and thought it was a mere remake of the original, when there is in fact an entirely new dynamic towards the end of the chamber that took me a good few minutes to work out. Nothing super difficult but I really like the changes.

Awesome reimagining of chamber 14, awesome puzzle, awesome visuals, awesome anti-trap section, but...

since the point of the solution is to use unusual flings to conserve portals , why isn't the collapsed ceiling fling-proof?
I mean, the first thing I did when seeing the hole in the ceiling near the cube dropper was to fling through it. I did and then I wound up in nodraw-land without any means of escape. Seal off that hole with an invisible wall or something.
On the other hand, I don't like how there's a huge hole above the laser and I can't go through it because of an invisible wall!

Anyways, I hope it's clear that those are nitpicks. Everything else is, as I said, awesome!

Very nice map, however, I think I broke the last bit. I used the cube to stop the elevator from coming down fully. Then I just jump up to the exit door.

Great map! Sometimes I forget about the basic No Elements moves.

FYI, laser collision is off until you die once, then laser collision is back on. Doesn't affect the puzzle really, I just thought that it was an interesting science fact.

Excellent work! It's amazing how two small tweaks in the level design which might only be perceived as "conveniences" can turn an easy puzzle into a challenging and incredibly clever one.

Thanks for the feedback! The platform sounds were a known issue I didn't have time to fix - once judging is finished, I'll replace it with a system that lets me control the volume and the activation. That's surprising to hear about the anti-trap mechanism, since repeatability was something I tried to test for. I'll investigate that when I fix everything else. Cheers!

Very clever map with a gorgeous sky-box. Jofish really can make a good atmosphere for sure, i love your work.
Also the puzzle with the twist at the end, uuuh malicious!! I loved it!

The only problem i had with the map is the moving platforms sound. I really tried to tune them out but its too loud, maybe only activate them when you inside that area.

Also i tried out the anti-trap mechanism for fun, but it only works once. When you try to activate it the second time it will not open. -i brought the cube with me both times-

Above all, i really enjoyed the map. Thumbs up and favorited :p2cube: !

Nice little puzzle - very similar to the original, but the little twist at the end was devious when I realized I had to keep the laser from immediately hitting the catcher. Thumbs up.

The solution was a fun reimagined twist of the original logic. It took a bit to figure it out, and it was fun spending time in the beautiful environment.
