Finland do have deep water ports, the baltic sea is not that shallow. The largest cruise ships atm are built in Finland and their draughts are deeper than the specifications of a deep water harbor...
Even Denmark are a major ship constructor.

Your mod is great but it displays the actual game engine variable names, which is distracting. if you fix this you have a truly spectacular mod friend!

@Mannerheimus The Baltic isn't very deep and Finnish ports aren't deep water, Victoria 3 is representing larger vessels with deeper drafts and therefore effectively modern deep water ports

Can anybody compare this to More State Traits? I would prefer to not individually compare every state

why are finlands states cold water harbours when they never freeze over and were one of the most productive harbours of the russian empire???

I am planning to update more regional traits, could I integrate this mod?

Please patch with the new 1.3.1 update! The mod changes all the nations borders and makes the game unplayable.

Fantastic mod! Two recommendations: Port of New Orleans for Louisiana and some harbor bonus for the Chesapeake Bay Area considering it is one of the greatest natural geographic harbors in the world. If it’s not too big of a bonus maybe something to do with the barrier chain islands off the east coast. Regardless, this mod is wonderful and I can’t see myself playing without it!

Will this mod fail after modifying the map? Because I played China, I found that there are only many good harbors, and there are no other bonuses.
Or does it conflict with more realistic mods?

This mod seems need a patch for the arable land changes in 1.2 as i found the values of arable land stayed unchanged with this mod actived.

i would say it would be pretty acceptable for rotterdam to be added. the game ends in 1936 it would be a bit unhistorically but the port is the biggest in europe right now and was historically competing with other big ports like hamburg and le havre during the 19th century

@GreekWarrior850 Any chance you could direct me towards a citation on Rotterdam being the largest in the world? It looks to me like it only became the largest in the world in the 1950s. I also looked into Piraeus and it seems that the city was only re-settled in 1829 (and was only made a town in 1835); I don't think it became a big port until the modern era.

would love if you add the port of Rotterdam it was the largest port of the world and port Piraeus in athens seeing its the 2 largest port of the med
