Effects for particle systems

Awesome stuff. :coolstar2022:

There is small thing I found though. The "Particles with effects" full comp layer does not fit a 4k scene. It's moved down and a bit to the left which gives the scene a weird look because you can see a hard cut where the layer is overlapping into the camera view. I just copied the effects from your layer into an adjustable comp layer to make it dragable which fixed it and i could not get it to work with every particle systems set to refracted, but that's just a minor problem.

Nonetheless this is excellent work. Was looking for the possibility to add an opacity mask to particles for what feels like forever. Thanks. :cozybethesda::cozybrawlhalla1:

@Zauwara Thanks for pointing that out, I think I know why it happens even though the default is white. I'll push an update in the near future to make some other changes I had in mind, I should be able to fix this as well.

PS: I don't know since when, but I discovered it a year ago.

Awesome! One additional hint: At first I was confused why the effects were only applied on some regions in a checkerboard pattern. Turns out the opacity mask in the "Combine + opacity + blend modes" defaults to empty and therefore the no texture image is loaded. Easily fixed by just setting it to a white image / whatever opacity mask you actually want.

PS: Since when is it possible to drag and drop layers into texture slots? That feature is a game changer!
