Amazing mod! Will it get further updates? I find this mod to be the number 1 mod for adding more enemy variety and I never need another mod enabled for it.

It would appear that the ES Crab MkII_(ioshc) has all of it's PD set to defense only, but PD is its only weapons. So it just hovers around you at a distance and doesn't attack.

@clwens Yep, somehow that path reverted back. I had an issue creating the - Trade ships branch and I think some wires crossed. Although I'm not sure why the path would have been changed back. 1.0.20 fixes the trade ship path.

@clwens Strange, no I do not have that error. Have been unable to load tradeship since .26 and maybe that path is the issue. Checking on it.

Ah, I found it, your update changed back the path to the ships to /TradeRoutes/TradeShips instead of /TradeShips. Didn't this change of game files happen in your version too?

I suddenly got the Error by loading my Game: "The given key 'monolith_7e' was not present in the dictionary." I'll try a few things my self, because butchered around in mod.rules when the game didn't load, when something similar appeared after updating to 0.26, but maybe @Iron Overload do you have an idea?

I was thinking about using this mod- but seeing as how there is a comment on here describing a ship that lacks airlocks gets stuck around stations- I'll have to postpone using it for now. BUT when I find a working mod that increases the amount of trades and trade ships allowed per station, I'll probably try and use it anyways.

As for your ship naming issue where you add (ioshc) to all ship names, you could add a random series of spaces and non-breaking spaces to the end of all ship names. For example "        ". That should eliminate naming conflicts with all other ships mods and is not noticeable until you edit the name/details in creative.

The XT-3 High Speed Transport can't interact with anything as it lacks airlocks for crew.
Tons of em get stuck at stations.

This mod is mostly a collection of ships from other creators. Feel free to use any of the ones I've made. The workshop page for this mod does include a collection which roughly includes all the various ship authors.

If they are not showing in the library itself you can find them in the folder. Add the mod, then from the start menu go to mods, right click on this mod and choose open folder. Alternatively, you can navigate to the folder which will look something like this. Your drive and initial path might be a bit different.

I'm working on making current-day compatible versions of EVERY ship from the free itch.io version, I'd be greatly interested in the idea of having these blasts from the pasts featured here if you don't mind, especially since it would be a chance to sneak the old factions into the convict bounties, such as running into "the pestilent ones" and "CRYSTAL cabal?". if you're reading this Iron Overload, and are perchance actually interested in the possible additions, please friend request and reach out to me sometime. godspeed. - Desmodante

@fallout4fanboy You can access the mod folder within Cosmoteer. 1. From the main menu click on mods. 2. Find Ship Hunter Campaign (ioshc) in the mod list, right click it, and choose show folder. 3. Windows explorer is now showing you the mod folder. You will find combat ships in the combat folder. Copy any ships you want (don't move them or the mod will break). 4. Back at the Cosmoteer main menu choose More > Ship Library. 5. In the top right corner click the options button (next to the red x close button) and choose "Open Folder." 6. Windows explorer will open your saved ships folder. 7. Copy any ships you want from the mod into the saved ships folder and they will show up in your ship library.

New update fixes the XT3 high speed transport. Crew refused to use the medium reactor, tried removing reactor, copied ship parts to new build excluding reactor/rooms, and replacing the reactor. Nothing, weird. Doors and paths were all good... finally removed the medium reactor back one space and it worked... wtf. Anyhow it is working now

@Ferno "Removing the mod results in an error for Fringe_7h missing" This is related to additional trade route ships. I'm not sure about the key error, that sounds like a dictionary issue expect I'm not sure what the x/y would be related in regard to the ship library and/or trade routes.

Removing ship hunter is currently and issues because the game does not gracefully handle missing ships from the ship list, same for trade routes apparently.

The Fringe_7h is ship hunter no question, but I don't think the dictionary collision is related to ship hunter. That sounds like it might be a ship component mod?

New saves work completely fine, so its pointing to a possibility of stuff not converting over into an update from this mod correctly. Basically, without the mod: cant load the save, with the mod, cant load it either. New saves, completely fine. Not sure what that may be but yeah that's where im at right now.

Heyo @Iron Overload, apologies for the bother on this comment section for your mod however it appears after proper debugging that there is update to this mod that caused an error soft-locking me and a friend from playing our saves from a couple days ago. That error being (An item with the same key has already been added. Key: [X=-19, Y=-16]. Removing the mod results in an error for Fringe_7h missing, which is related to this specific mod, meaning, I cannot play my current saves with, or without this mod at the moment. Even after getting rid of every mod that isn't technically needed to load our save, such returns to the same conundrum.

I added you on here because I wish not to populate your mod comment section with troubleshooting, and am willing to provide the patience and assistance to help you discover if this may be something wrong with the mod, and would absolutely appreciate the help.

@Good_Oatmeal Yep, I check the most recent and add ships that can somewhat fit in a faction (which is pretty loose, it is hard to place some ships). I've poked through most popular and a good number of those ships are already included. I haven't looked at ship tier distribution, which could be interesting and reveal some tier that could be filled out.

@brandonewing25 My first play through with ship hunter I noticed a number of trade ships camping out at trade stations. In a previous mod update I made sure all the trade ships had hyperdrives as I also found them sitting at jumpgates. The transport dorkathi class has that fix but I made a couple other tweaks just now in case the AI was trying to do something odd with the crew.

I am not yet certain what is causing ships to camp at the stations, other than it might be too many trade ships or something. I saw more camping in Monolith regions than say Cabal, but it wasn't consistent.

Ship hunter 1.0.13 is live, 15 additional combat ships. Also saw the ANTENNA-12 trade ship in the wild so if you are having an error about ANTENNA-12 verify your steam files to force an update, you might be running an old version of the mod.

@CaseFeather Ships for ship hunter are not included in the saved ships folder, if that is what you asking about? It could be a different mod? I just finished my first full play through with ship hunter enabled, but I was mostly in Monolith territory. You could try verifying the game files in steam as that usually forces any mod updates to download.

Update 1.0.12 includes some ship fixes. Note: you will not likely see ship modification changes if the ship was already loaded in your current system. Changing systems or new trade ships showing up through the jump gate will likely have the changes.

also a while ago i noticed one of the level 1 trader ships doesnt have a reactor just a capacitor bank.

There was an issue with a missing antenna ship in a previous version. You might try verifying your steam files and see if that fixes it. If you can get the full name of the ship I can likely fix the issue.

Game crashes because of something named ioshc antenna. lost a save file because i can't load it when this mod is removed and can't play when it is.

If you are interested in an specific blue prints check out the collection link in the ship hunter description. That collection has all the base ships included in the mod.

My question was just that & not a complaint or anything. I never thought about the response suggestions which covers all bases you can keep the ships you like without the clutter and mod subs filling the blueprint folder with bloat, it is the ship hunter mod after all. I guess as long as the mods included list is updated anyone can download the individual mod needed to get a ship blueprint earlier.
