"Stupid": No
Strange: Yes
So, yes, I do use it!
though, I do think an inheritable (if you make a genotype), non-archite one could be neat! Make all your pawns inately have a stack, at birth (Have it "Take effect" at, say, 13)
I think you should, instead of making archite capsules more expensive, make either the empty stack more expensive, make it use less capsules, or say that it's because "since it's a blueprint, the rescourses are more". The benifit is that you can get archite capsules easier iirc, and if not, there is a mod you can use to extract capsules "accidentally" from prisioners!

from my previos tests i only get that you cannot perform sleeve operation on a child before 13, there is no option, and it's presumably intended behavior from the core AC mod
So, what is it's issue with children?
1) its from my own tests with the mod
2) nice plan xd
2 questions now:
1. what do you mean by "Altered Carbon dosent works with children"
2. " I gonna think about adding regular stack version of the gene, but you can craft one with some advanced components, need to play a game a bit and think about it, then i gonna decide for sure" I think you should, as then you could have biological kids born with stacks (assuming that can work):
I would use it to create a being that has a shortened lifespan, is severly weakened, but has all skills boosted by genes. The idea is an Archotech made them to be able to learn rapidly, but die realitivly quickly. Then, the Archotech could modify the stack, and transfer it into a sleeve, this time with archite genes and better lifespan, to have an incomprehensibly powerful, nearly imortal family!
2) I gonna think about adding regular stack version of the gene, but you can craft one with some advanced components, need to play a game a bit and think about it, then i gonna decide for sure
1. what is "Skipstack"
2. Could you add another version that forms a non-archyte stack (It still requires archite genes though) (Maybe 5 archite capsules?)
3. Instead of forming a body with a stack, what if the gene is triggered by a conscisness. That means it will only be activated if given to a pawn that has a soul, or after the stack is implanted. As for why you would want said gene in a pawn that already has one? If you have 2 pawns with this gene, their child will immediately get a stack!
Just a (recommended) idea, either way, thanks!
i glad that you like it
Good Job! ill have to incorporate this gloriousness into my already broken xenotypes.
