It's been a while, but Shatilov, that sounds like the "Fudging vassals" mod possibly.

Does this have any exceptions for factions with related subcultures? Like Empire-Bretonia, Monogod-WoC, Vampires-Tomb Kings?

Also, does it automatically support modded factions such as the southern realms?

@Shatilov I tested your scenario, and declaring war is working fine for against both vassals and overlords. I do not think this mod is your issue.

playing as Malakai I cant declare war on the northern Goromadny Tribe, I can only declare war on Valkia, their master, and still i cant attack them, I get a "Grayed" declare war box that I cant click. I only can cancel the attack move.

this mod, prevents me from declaring wars on vessals, i can only declare war on their masters, but not on vessels, and i cant attack their armies or settlements.

@Lycia, this game does use a script file, so its possible that its a conflict with this mod, but I do not have any further advice.

I'm getting a script break after a few dozen successful iterations of this mod when it is loading a game. Any ideas what could be causing it? I kinda suspect Living World but I'm not sure.

May need an update for Chorfs, as Astragoth I was able to call in all other Chaos factions into my wars (not necessarily against the lore, but does give more options than intended).

Yeah, seems so. You wouldn't happen to know if there's args for force_diplomacy to reset it, would you? E.g. true, false, true, then remove them after saving once.

Hm, still can't join war as empire with other empire factions in the save even after a few turns, file did update correctly (can't join with woodelves now). Does forcing the diplomacy false persist in the save file?

lol yup, copypaste typos it looks like. Seems like greenskins, vamp counts, tomb kings, dark/high elf, lizardmen, and possibly a few more have the same issue, tho dunno what their missing link is (if I'm reading the lua right, that is).
... interesting use of mixing space and tab indentation too, that's a bold choice :P

Added to an Empire game in progress, and apparently it thought I was an elf; could only see join war option with Wood Elf factions lol.

This mod is so useful I hated 10 random bad guys joining against me who I don't even know, because i declared war on a tiny guy.

@Lunion. No exceptions, but those factions are of course able to ally as normal. Only factions in the same subculture are close enough to use Join War. Even Kislev and Ostland, do not have as simple diplomatic ties as Stirland and Ostland. If you attack Ostland, unless you see that Kislev has an alliance with Ostland, you can be sure they will not join mid-war.

and for order alliance like the empire and dwarf ? Bretonnia and TEB ? or kislev and a majority of the order ?
