PS: as a longtime (though not quite successful or well known) mapper, I just want to point out how well your map works given it's wld file is 42 MBs and has over 14000 entities. That's really pushing the limits of the engine and because I did something similar for my own level. I guess yours is just much (much!) better optimized!

Also I see you did try some zoning but... yeah it didn't quite work, sorry about that.

That said, yeah... I didn't think people could still make maps that rivaled the gems from the mid 2000s anymore for the sam games. That was quite a nostalgia trip you made!
Job well done mate! I'm sure if the greats from back in the day saw this they'd be proud.

Good use of powerups when they're warranted, actually nice to see a decent serious map that uses the custom enemies. Funny and clever secrets, pill secrets are kinda overused and outstay their welcome though.

That being said there are a couple of problems: for starters the outdoor areas are... very laggy, this would really should have had some kind of zoning between areas like Croteam does in their (atleast TSE) maps to not render other courtyards of a map (See Grand Cathedral).

And kinda nit picky but there's a 'slight' delay before doors open when you trigger them.

If you had lied and and told me this was some unreleased map made back in the mid-2000's when all the golden age custom maps were coming out, I would have totally belived you.

This... This is a real gem right here. The opening feels very much inspired by Karnak Demo, the pacing is on point, no part ever felt too difficult or too easy (considering a good 30 minutes is just you with the single shotgun, quite rare to see)

You've somehow managed to fit 3000 enemies into a map and keep the enemy pacing so on point that it never really felt like you killed that many by the end. That you never really felt truely overwhelmed.

thank you HoBu4ok, very much appriciate your work and effort. we will def be playing this level again. me and my partner couldent finish it in 1 go, but we had 100%extra enemy hp per player so yeah. loved the map tho. will let you know if we find any more bugs in the future

got soft locked in a room with segmented floors that raised and lowered. had a target near the ceiling that spawned an invulnerbility.

seems like one segment dident lower correctly so couldent acess the door

this is such an awosme map. ive been playing this since day 1 and thousands of hours later its fantastic to see great new maps for this game. this is absolutly great map and must play, has very interesting spawns, asthetics and fights. the coop is perfect as it matches my style of play perfectly. ramp up the difficulty and try and fail

Rico Raccoon, 1) bug with moving platfrom werebull should not break it because it is supposed to be positioned on the floor level ( this never happened to me but I'll fix it in next update)
2) bug with crash: delete all mods that changes classic files of Revolution, crash happenes when game tries to spawn green Biomech on clean version of the game works fine

on an related note this type of crash has happened a few other times on other older campaigns, seems to be a design flaw with the campaigns that causes the game to crash. not sure what since there is no error screen given, it just crashes to desktop. Was just about to enjoy the map, then the game got softlocked, and when i got around that, it crashed :(

Played with a friend, after the fun section where the floors move up and down, a werebull is supposed t ocrash through the block but it never happens. I managed to jump on top of him and get on the other side, however when i move on to the other large open space, after some enemies spawn the game just crashes with no warning and i get booted out of the game, and all progress is lost :(

Dark_lbbros96, I'm making new map right now the second part of this mappack. Idk when it will come out tbh but this map won't be so large and much more beautiful.

There is easiest way to di that using MP Coop session. Multiplayer>Start Lobby>Game options>Cooperative options> there turn ON Respawn in-place feature.

Одна из лучших карт за последние годы! Прекрасная и оригинальная архитектура - то есть геометрические формы интересные, хоть и с египетскими текстурами, что выглядит свежо. Скучных визуально локаций просто нет. Отличное сочетание открытых и закрытых пространств. Адекватная запутанность, интересные секреты. Баланс местами хромает в паре мест, но вполне выживабельно. Странно что нет мощных пушек, но возможно они будут в следующей карте из серии? С нетерпением жду продолжения! Спасибо за отлично проведённое время!:steamhappy:

Полностью прошла.
Ощущения в основном положительные. Очень приятная глазу архитектура, баланс в сторону игрока не заставляет гореть и перезапускать одну и ту же секцию двадцать раз, секреты как легенькие, так и совсем ломающие лично для меня голову, но мне понравилось.
Из минусов отмечу:
- Прям очень не хватает Stain текстур на пол, песок, и тд, очень виден тайлинг текстур;
- Оптимизация, как я понимаю, всё-таки далеко не лучшая часть этой карты;
- Неожиданный конец меня на самом деле расстроил, казалось вот-вот будет какая-то кульминация...

I've unsubscribed some of other workshop maps and it worked. I've finished the map and it's sure one of the best I've played recently, even though in the large pool fight I had big frame drops and lag in the moments with many enemies. Nothing too bad for me, just to point it out. Great map overall and nice choice for the music

@Rerto Grade, have you re-installed your game? On clean version of the game (AP3381) it works fine on my PC and many of my testers. You can see comments below by Mordecai and the Bodans with similar problem: "so it turned out that one of the Rev's workshop items i had messed up the Green Biomech which caused the crush".

I don't have any gameplay-changing mods and literally never used them, so I don't know what I should do

@Retro Grade, the only reason for this is enabled mods for enemies AI or models changing. It is not because tiny Ugh-Zans (because you have them in previous room without crashes, don't you?) It is because of the green biomechanoid. Check your game files or delete all other modifications that changes gameplay in any way.

Hi, I'm testing the map at Serious but I'm stuck with the game crashing in the long corridor with the Serious Bomb and Ugh-Zans. The game crashes no matter what I do always in that precise moment 10-15 seconds after the Ugh-Zans spawn. I've tried using the Bomb to kill them quickly in case they were the reason of the crash, but the game crashes a few seconds after anyway. Could there be a solution for this? I was really enjoying the map and recording a gameplay for my channel, I'd like to complete it

После прохождения карты на Укх-зане,я осознал что хоть это в несколько раз сложнее чем на крутой сложности но при этом все так же интересно,всем рекомендую пройти и на этой сложности.

@dawidzywocki2001, ok, I'll remove some of "kleer behind the corner" spawns, because there are too often, and Ugh-Zan from behind (as I can remember there is only one case of this happening inside serpents papyrus temple) will also be removed. About bossfights; they are easy for me, but I'll reduce enemy count for a bit.

This map was fine however some enemy spawns are unbalanced like the fight with cannon biomech(serious bomb only saved me) and Boss Arachnoid ,also please please dont spawn tiny ugh zans behind you bc they can instakill you instantly(i hate those guys anyway). Also dont put kleers in the corners so often. Visuals are fantastic. Also idk if that is maps problem but at the end I was laging. Some of the fight were actually fun and good. Also the section where you can fall down(tiny bridges) dont spawn enemies where you can fell easily(I didnt but Im just saying)

There was one issue i encountered and it barely even matters but id like to make it known anyway. Right after grabbing the sniper, after you reach the middle of the bridge. the x2 chainsawmen that spawn behind you dont have aggro range to engauge you. Other than that map was flawless.

The pacing on this map is incredibly well done, i've played alot of maps over the years and i can say with absolute certainty that each room is well polished in terms of unit spawning, and attention to detail with aesthetics. 10/10 Take my points!

Mordecai and the Bodans, I've checked this moment in editor right now although non of my testers and even myself having this problem. I thought it could happen if markers don't have proper targets, but everything is fine. Only thing I can advise for you is to check game files, and if this won't help just skip this part via noclip. I've never faced any crashs in my map while making/testing it.

Замечательная карта,местами иногда очень сложная но интересная.Архитектура на высшем уровне.Лично я на крутой сложности затратил 6,5 часов.Итог:карта заслуживает чтобы в нее поиграть.
