It doesn't need updating. It's just 1 line on dB tables that ca will likely never change, and if they do, they won't raise it to 50. It isn't assigned to factions so it works for everyone.

I'm not sure if the actually function of capturing artillery is bound by faction, or just by usable artillery type, but this mod doesn't touch that.

You could raise this to 100 and use console command to make a huge army of artillery and leave some spare spots in your army, save the game then save scum and see if you manage to steal some?

Hey Jack, I know this is a simple mod and doesn't need frequent updating, but can you confirm this does what it's supposed to with 4.x?

It doesn't anything for modded factions, I assume? So if Southern Realms fights the Empire, they can't capture their artillery using this mod or otherwise, correct?
