Just give me a command to force end this crisis event. It's ruining the rest of my game.
Additionally, the English localization requires a lot more work, and the whole crisis feels like it wasn't sure what it wanted to be.

Well, there seems to be something wrong with the generation of the dig site. please try console command "event cgb_crisis_01.1300". You can skip the dig site and move on to the next. My apologies.
And it is difficult to comment on the situation because it is not the part I created. But I'm sure the submitter(who is responsible for that code) of this mod at least intends to do a balance fix. Perhaps it will take some time, but please wait and see.
And if the excavation site did not appear when the curator contacted you, try "event cgb_crisis_01.1210" in the console command.

This was a pretty good mod, thank you for making it. I mostly enjoyed the crisis. I have a few suggestions I think would make it feel a lot more polished.
First, there was a lot of broken localization. I mostly noticed it in the galactic community resolutions, the situations, and a few events. These cases the localization just wasn't present at all. Second, the actual writing wasn't bad at all (especially since I assume you're ESL), but making sure the first word of every sentence was capitalized would feel significantly more polished. Actually., this mod does not end with the development of a vaccine, It is more like a sub-event. In design, a situation that identify of the pathogen is main. However, the infection event on the planet(this is related to the situation) is somehow completely broken, and I confirmed that the situation will likely not occur in normal play. I fixed it, but now the rules do not allow uploading to the workshop. Our apologies.
And I made it possible to end the crisis by typing "event cgb_crisis_01.1999" into the console in any planet scope, but in fact I confirmed today that the infection event on the planet does not stop when I tried it. The mod is NOT in a state to play properly, so you should turn off this mod Until the corrected version is uploaded on the 16th. I'm sorry. I will make an effort to fix it.
This mod was made by several people, but there were some integration issues.
The infection event on the planet is progressing somewhat differently than I had envisioned, and currently you have to dare to take bad option in events to advance the situation.
The quickest way is to choose to leave it at the event where the infected person escapes, but this event has a small chance of happening.
Alternatively, you can type "event cgb_crisis_01.100" into the console to start the pathogen investigation and proceed the main event.
I will make an effort to improve, but may be halfway through due to lack of time.
I just keep getting lots of repeating notifications. I finished the vaccine, but nothing happened. I am working through the Gal Community now, the situation hasn't changed. Any help?
