You're welcome. Have fun with the map on your new season on YouTube.
You're welcome. Have fun with the map on your new lets play on YouTube.
Many thanks. You're welcome.
These fine, narrow terrain elevations were automatically generated based on data from Open Street Map. The user of the map can thereby recreate the original routes.
They are all in use. Natural Environment Professional and Alpine Climate are required for the textures. You can find the bridges and castles in different places on the map. The water textures are needed to represent the narrow rivers.
Please excuse the late reply. Have you been able to install the map in the meantime? In the instructions you will find information on how you can integrate the current version of Natural Environment Professional and where you can get this version.
Unfortunately, I have no influence on the behavior of the little rivers which are depicted with "water-roads". If they no longer belong to the user, the AI will build houses next to them.
Ich habe dir eine Freundschaftsanfrage gesendet. Wenn Du diese bestätigst, kannst du mir über Steam einen Screenshot der Fehlermeldung schicken.
You're welcome ;-)
I now know a lot of tricks to solve many problems, but I have even put a new project that I wanted to do for myself on hold for the time because of the effort involved (you can find a preview here: https://www.transportfever.net/thread/13014-sammelthema-screenshots-und-videos-von-euren-tpf2-welten/?postID=411926#post411926; this map would have an even higher resolution than Lausanne - Sion).
But you are welcome to send me which region interests you via Steam.
The water must be brought to a single level. The elevation data from different countries must be combined. The gaps have to be interpolated. The map section has to be rotated, and a new variant of the Alpine Climate-Mod was needed to apply the snow to the correct heights. Then the Open Street Map Data has to be integrated and the streets had to be drawn - and last but not least, the fields had to be drawn and the trees had to be automatically added to the correct heights (otherwise it doesn't look realistic).
Yeah right. One of the commenters said that Urban Games should pay me to build such maps ;-) Of course that would be a nice job! You would also know what Urban Games is planning for the next release and maybe even be able to influence that ;-).
I have confirmed your friend request and am pleased that you like the quality of Lausanne - Sion so much that you would like to commission a map for another region. But I'm afraid I can't offer you much, because it really took a lot of time to build this map - even if it's only a map, it was countless hours.
Ich kann das bei mir nicht reproduzieren. Du könntest dazu vielleicht einen Thread im Forum www(dot)transportfever(dort)net eröffnen. Vielleicht hat dort jemand eine Idee.
It will certainly be a region with high mountains again, but I haven't decided on a specific region yet.
Change HUD Icon filters as you like, on this see point 1 on https://www.transportfever2.com/wiki/doku.php?id=gamemanual:userinterface#hud_icon_filter
I think the next map will be smaller ;-)
Many thanks. This would be indeed a very nice job, getting paid for building Transport Fever maps ;-)
When i did the roll out, the map was designed to be used with an industry mod. You can add more refinerys in the sandbox mode.
Maybe i will release a second version of this map with rails. Then, maybe, i will add industries as you proposed.
What do you mean with "need 200 kph"? I have no influence on the rail-types you can use.
I would suggest that for the oil refinery near Aigle that you make it 2x or 4x refineries so there's enough capacity for other industries, if there is only to be one location for realism sake. Also, need 200 kph in 1970 for the beast BR103.1, because I'm only seeing 160 kph track at that time.
The railway lines that exist in reality are imprinted on the map as fine, narrow terrain elevations. These elevations are generated on the basis of open street map data,
It would be too much work to draw these lines by hand.
It would also be too much work to draw the fields so that these elevations are left out.
If the tracks were drawn, all users would be more or less forced to recreate them. If users would prefer their own track layouts, they would have to paint over the drawn tracks.
2nd thing - if you are going to show players where the real life rail goes I think it would be better to paint it. In your map there is a lot of grey "stripe" textures and its great for laying roads and also it doesnt cost money (becaue you dont have to flatten the terrain) :)
Thank you very much.
Many thanks! My next map will have a scale of 1:1 to be closer to reality ;-)
