Hi, I just wanna let you know that I really like this mod. I think it looks really nice in-game and that you were very thoughtful when making the item usable by both male and female characters. I just hope that you could make it even more immersive by tweaking its name into "Fabric Strips" in order to harmonize with other items like "Wooden Sandals" or "Leather Shirt", etc. If my suggested name already belongs to another item or if it has different meaning from yours then please kindly forgive me as I'm just a newbie of the game and English is not my most fluent language. The idea is to use it with or without the "Underwear restored" mod? because with that mod, when you equip certain underwear like leather shirts, it generates an imaginary panty.

It would be nice if your mod did the same and also a panty that is in the style of the top you created. An improvised thong, not necessarily for the sexy factor but for what you could really do with Strips of fabric. Also that it appears when you equip the various shirts in the game and they copy the color of it, as happens with "Underwear restored" that when you equip Black Cloth Shirt it generates a black panty as well and it looks great.

I love the little detail of the right hand wrapping, as it adds a little bit of headcanon lore to my Kenshi. Is there a way to make this work in the belt slot instead of the shirt slot? I want it so everyone wears this. I tried to do it in the FCS but the wraps don't appear

Is this compatible with shek nude body? As in, sheks will have this underwear but will it appear on other races over their rags?

Has anyone found a topless mod to use with this? I don't really want a full nude mod for only women. Just topless so the bra doesn't look funny with the normal kenshi top underwear.

A recent update supposedly allows characters to spawn with belt clothing. Any chance of this mod getting a belt version?

I've plans to add an extended version and still note sure about should it be for nude mods or as underwear overhaul. The main idea is to add bottom underwear with stockings and based on discussion of feminists with game's holy nation's women repression there could be pure women fighters(MA) faction using slim leather armor with teasing open parts to play tricks on the soldiers of the holy nation out of revenge while punching and kicking them.
But there is a lot of work to match different pieces of armor and even more if make underwear overhaul.

Why not? If the nude mod you use is compatible then this one will work. Anyway if there are new npcs with naked torso then distribution patch will be needed. If anyone will make one - leave a link so I note it in description.

Just make sure that new RW characters without top gear or trader's leather armor(or those characters will show right boob) will get Strips of fabric

You can put colorable items into any faction's(that use any colors pair) character inventory to color them. After item was colored once it could not change it's color

Because they got stats... I had idea to add MA Bindings with top instead of wraps but then I thought it is not lore friendly.. so separate item. It got 20% MA reflection damage resist (vanilla MA Bindings got 70%) only because I had to shade one item between genders and the idea was to cover one fist to keep it balanced and realistic
I might add more items in future

@UnCheat why you make a new item instead of using the Martial Artist Bindings that covers the boobs just like you need?

Btw the idea of this mod was to hide most of nude people around those should not be naked.
Only slaves (if they do not have top rags or GI-like rag) and Shrieking Bandits could be naked (that is lore friendly imo).
Hunger Bandits like characters do wear rags so their nipples are hidden, their leaders got new top underwear.
So no sudden nipples around with this mod, that was the main point why I did make it.
I could also make a patch to distribute underwear around slave characters as separate addon if you like

Btw it's not a bikini even if it looks so ) it's just two pieces of fabric tied in the middle and wrapped like in ropes around the edges. I might update normal maps to make it more obvious (bumpy wrapped parts)
This mod also could be updated to make variety of tops but body retexture could not.
Also other type of tops do not look natural and need new mesh that could follow a lot of other mods compatibility issues...
But I'll test a "comfort top" (like a sport top or how that is called) with a slight remesh that possibly will look natural... that would be another mod if I'll be happy with results

and maybe have the girls wear realistic bras instead of skimpy bikini tops? something... supporting, comfortable, keeping those boobs in place while you swing your fragment axe around...

This mod does not include nudity mods. Use one of available. After import you've to craft or loot new underwear or start a new game

Also I've in mind just another view on slim drifter hot pants.. It should have more belts reusing vanilla meshes, use body mesh layers texture as for main pants texture to be really slim and should look seductive but I hope it'll look practical ... If i'll be happy with a result I'll share it.

Oh Radiant mods series are really great! Biosteel mod does give some protection so I don't use it to keep closer to vanilla as possible

Anyways this game has the coverage stat... so you could make chainmail bikini with same stats as chainmail but coverage (lets average) 10%.. so it will look as you expect and be still realistic. But I won't be part of that for now )

hmmmm if you want some ideas on looks maybe take a look at Radiant's Biosteel silk armors he made 3-4 different versions of those.
