The issue with bile jar has been like this for very long time, even riot infected with nightstick had this problem.
For double gibbed, I'm not fully aware of it. It may likely either valve mistake or mod that may affecting by it

Not possible, that mainly due to how skin families works with common infected. So I can't really do much about it
with other shirts, they tend to blend in and not stick out too much, but stripes, don't, so it is really jarring when you notice more than one zombie wearing the same (very stand out) pattern on screen at once, or within minutes of eachother.

I'm not familiar with model + population mods but I'm assuming its safe too use them all together since yours doesn't touch the models that extended CI uses ?
The gore system will work fine with this mod and other mods
dont know if its just me but i honestly feel like there are not much visible injuries after i installed this mod
example, sometimes i shoot a zombie in the back with a shotgun, but the ripped piece of body with the ribs coming out doesnt seem to be visible
Try disable all of your mods except both casual civilian and deep southerners and see if it works or not

Btw all of these campaigns have normal horde sizes and I only get the huge hordes when subscribe to the two addons I mentioned. Also your screenshots actually show now what I see if I subscribe, those overly big hordes. I didn't notice those towards the back before
Your screenshot indicate that you're using the script mod because of L4D1 survivors. And yet, you still haven't send me your mod list that I've asked
You do kinda realised that during that time, both mod haven't made until "2023", so whatever you have in your mod-list during "2022" is definitely involved with scripts mod (including custom campaign, navmesh or any mod that utilised it)

Then when I unsubscribed all of the problems with the horde and also special infected spawns went back to normal

Can you show me a screenshot of your mod list and couple of the infected horde in-game as well to see how big we're talking about?
Do they also affect on default/vanilla campaign as well or just custom maps?
Here's the problem, I don't find "remodel's affecting on population counts" make sense because at the moment, that's not really a thing. I've not encounter this on my end nor got any complaint about this issue (until now).
So quite frankly, based on your situation, you got something that's causing this on your end. And on what exactly type of mods that you're using? (including custom campaign, mutation and/or any scripts)
Except this isn't population mod, it's remodel mod that focus on expanding more variety but doesn't affect the population count
You got something that involved using the script, like "complete population" mod for example
At the moment, One of the modder name "Sirwololo" is planning to do that.
I was thinking about it but there's potentially risk that breaks the animation for L4D1 female infected in online
Ironically, there was two mod by different modders that done this before but it got taken down due to the issues
