If you aren't willing, how hard would it be to change to requirements from the OG mod to the continued version. I have been slowing getting into mod and finding I have a talent for this.

Is the mod updated for controller support for spawn limiter yet? I’m playing on a my Legion Go. when I dock it to use the keyboard, once set the spawn limit and click cancel, I can’t use the controller again. I can only move and when I click “a” I get a message saying new spawn limit set - or something like that. Anyone else have this issue with controller ?

it just gives an error whenever try to press/hold x. no ui pops up and survivors rack guns upon pressing. but that maybe due to brita's weapon button binding.

thanks for let me know, i think its compatible, try editing mod.info to remove requires= line, and run with 2024, if it works i will remove the dependecy

Hey man sometimes im unable to give commands. map menu - call over npc.. npc comes over but when i bring up the menu again im only able to call over. i dont see commands. It eventually works but only after a few tries. am i missing something? NPCs are right beside me each time

Hello guys! Thank you for your great job with this mod! Only one thing that I want to ask: Why aren't menu sections have images? I saw their textures in mod files, but they wasn't used in mod. Also I saw object, that contains paths of those images. So why it s?

@SalamanderAnder @skylonny9 now that have a good amount of icons and pretty version of it, and i got time to fix the bugs, im too busy with fire trail lately, but now i release a better version on this, and it adds the refreshing call survivor while navigating on menu

For the moment with SS i only use Number 6 to manually spawn an NPC( I spawn 2 or 3) and have them travel with me.

In ss can i just turn spawn rate to "off",in order to totally prevent SS spawning NPCs around the map?

yes you do, the low pop of survivors is instead a spawn rate frequency, all goes to infinity, without a sill cap. yeah others users report that spawns near player

@Reifel Okay I tested it. I can open the menu to edit the capacity, with the context menu. However, I cannot actually change the capacity with the gamepad (in the new popup window). I can press B to close out of the popup menu with the gamepad, but that's all I can do.

yes, please test if you can edit capacity using context menu on the wheelbarrow item, it will open a window with pre-selected options, on rebalance item mod is faster (because can use on many items) with the same feature

hey @SalamanderAnder thanks for be a great play tester! i will release an update soon, that will be refreshing the survivor call each option navigation, and i group together with amazing artists, so we will release a version 1 of icons, we will need a feedback of understanding and what each icon represents in users interpretation (and I have a question from another mod, can controllers use combobox options? can you try this in wheelbarrow mod edit capacity or the rebalance it mod?)

The new update works much, much better. Thank you. I have a couple suggestions:

It can be difficult to navigate the radials fast enough to issue an order to survivors before they get bored and walk away.

After calling a survivor over to you, the radial should stay open and go straight to the correlating survivor page instead of closing. So for example, if I call over survivor X, the radial should automatically open that survivor's option radial so you can go straight to issuing orders.

Second, it would be great if you could categorize some orders instead of presenting them all on a single radial. Under the "give order" page, there should be basic commands available right away, like follow me, stay still, loot this room, etc. and then have some of the lower priority actions, such as guard, pile corpses, barricade, ect. Should be categorized under another tab.

@astuffds im glad you reach out Luna, you are a very talented artist, got artistic trait irl, in that mod im looking for simple icons, can be like in game map, to ilustrate what the radial option is about, icon related to action, like ask survivor to go find food, barricate, and others commands that player can do, this mod remap context menu to radial menu, because my lack of artistic trait im using numbers from digital clock

the size of icons can be 34x34 size or 64x64, depending of submenu and quantity of options there, and are png files

about D-pad up, I think this is the default way to confirm options, i didnt configure this behavior, i assume it is the default key to confirm (when is not by releasing button), when you arready is in this mod`s menu you can unrelease any d-pad key pressed

now the behavior is: hold Map Menu, select ss option, release d-pad, navigate and select option by tapping D-pad up (not holding)

@McCog I dont use "Radial menu api", its is good that mod exists (thanks for mention it), I learn how to use radials from "Clothing Actions Radial Menu" and find out my own way to use submenus too

@SalamanderAnder thanks for your play test! and bug report, (i release new update to fix this today) i manage a better way, not destructive, to include a new option on the radial to open map, this can be userful to others modders/mod add their option there too, and to be compatible if game devs adds more options there too

and now the players emmits a message if there is no survivors nearby (to handle this misunderstood if the mod is working or not)

Reifel Does this use the mod "Radial menu API"? I think it allows completely new menus and submenus. Just asking as the comments seem to suggest that there needs to be more options.

Hey man. Thank you so much for updating the mod. It does work better now, however there are still a few minor issues:

The radial does not show up unless there is a survivor nearby. This means using the vanilla shout option is not possible with controller, unless there is a survivor around which allows use of the radial. It should always be available.

Second thing is, the radial is triggered by pressing down on the dpad, however to select radial options you have to press UP on the dpad. This can cause a control conflict that sometimes opens up the context radial (or spiffui which I have) and closes the survivor radial, which is pretty frustrating. It would be perfect if you could just press down dpad to select the options, same as opening the radial.

Really appreciate the work you've put in, these couple fixes would basically make the mod perfect.
