As for the devilstrand elite riot jacket having the same recipe and work to make as a non-stuffable one, I think it's a fair tradeoff; you essentially get a more expensive devilstrand duster with extra negotiation ability and social impact. Unfortunately it's almost three times as heavy. This means there's essentially no reason to make these, as if you need the ultra high burn protection, a devilstrand duster will work just fine.

Love this set! However, I would take a second look at the crafting recipes – in addition to what Arcimbaldo said, I have the following two observations:

* the stuffable elite riot helmet costs exactly the same amount of materials as a flak helmet, but has over twice as much work to make and has strictly superior stats;
* a plasteel elite riot helmet has a cheaper material cost than a non-stuffable elite riot helmet (notably not requiring an adv. component, instead requiring 2 components & 10 plasteel) and has strictly superior stats, but again, has over twice the required work to make.

Hmm, on closer inspection this does seem balanced. My colonists are essentially assembling specialized advanced components in-place. Also great for training high-tier crafter it seems.

Thanks for updating this. Have noticed though that the stats of the stuffable vs non-stuffable versions are very inconsistent.

Wonder if it's worth changing the non-stuffable recipes to use cloth + plasteel instead of devilstrand + steel - the super high heat armour from devilstrand makes it kind of impossible to balance in a rational way without bumping up the non-stuffable version's heat armour to something way higher than any of the vanilla armours.

I use ResearchPowl as part of my standard mod list, so I sometimes forget about things like that. I'll probably just merge it with flak armor.

It's not that big of a deal. Just kinda clutters up the vanilla research tree when you have quite a few mods.

Would it be possible to put the research for this in the main tab instead of a tab for itself? It seems to just clutter up the main tab if you have a fair few mods and it would personally feel at home maybe merged with flak armor research or maybe just after it.

When I'm zooming out, and a pawn that wears this outfit stands looking downward, the textures disappear, making the pawn look naked.

I fixed the texture size issue in the original back in 2021, so it shouldn't be an issue in Zaljerem's updated version. Unless I messed something up back then.

will the textures be scaled down in this one? I remember in the original they were unnecessarily big and could cause loading issues

Can you rename defame?
It's start with digit and it's make trouble to translate.
XML Tags can't be start with digit.

Thanks for making this m8. You're free to use the various images as well if you wish. I don't plan on asking you to take this down any time soon, but if I ever get back into rimworld I may eventually do so if I end up wanting to work on this again.
