hello. I apologize again.
if everything was correct.
It is a very enjoyable map.
The second time it seemed a little short to me.
It would be nice to be able to unlock the powered suits.
I just find it a little bad that the objective of rescuing the survivors is not marked on the map. but with your instructions and an idea I had I was able to find them.
good map.

if youre on the ST:TC discord i can send you pics with the info
Naeglhin 8 Mar, 2024 @ 11:42am
okay. Thank you, although I think I was there and nothing happened.
I'll have to check it again.

The survivors are at the bottom of the map if you follow the road all the way down youll find a set of buildings there
Naeglhin 8 Mar, 2024 @ 7:37am
to ok. thank you

Well, it occurred to me to bring almost everything except a fleet link.
As for the survivors, what area and building are you referring to? If it is the Viking area, yes, I was with units.
TheBigTG  [author] 8 Mar, 2024 @ 5:01am
No worries :)
For the viking there's floating text indicating that you need to bring a Fleet Liaison to repair it.
As for the survivors, the opening intro says that they're at the settlement at the end of that road. If you clear that area and bring units next to the building, the survivors will spawn.

Hope this helps

hello. I apologize for my previous lack of respect, but I found myself playing the map for a long time after finishing it to realize that the missions had been blocked.
The missions that I could not perform were:
- repair the viking and rescue the survivors.
Repair the Viking: I cleaned the area but nothing happened, I tried to send engineers and nothing happened. not know what to do.
And about the survivors, I didn't know anything. It didn't have a location point or anything.
All of this happened to me after I had cleaned the entire map.
However, I really liked the Ricograd map because you could make the transition by improving little by little through all the unit levels of the game. You started with troopers and you improved and changed units and in the end you used them all.

Hey there, I haven't changed this map in over a year so if something broke maybe it was due to an update. If you can let me know specifically what isn't working, I can give it a look and try to fix it
Naeglhin 7 Mar, 2024 @ 7:01am
Ricograd's liberation map is great but this one......
It looks like wallpapered shit to me.
What nobody tells you is that not all objectives are correct.
some objectives cannot be met or it gets stuck and does not jump. and when you realize this you have wasted a lot of time.
Next time check that what you do is well done and correct.

@银发是好文明 The catch of the map is that all bigger types of bugs have specific hives of origin (that you can take out later on), so you can plan your defenses and assaults accordingly.

Place some snipers (I think 2 or 3 were enough) on the northeastern wall to target the Plasma Grens (target priority) coming from the north and try to take out the hive closest to you in the south ASAP to reduce the stress there. Keep in mind that MK2 on autofire are kinda weak to hoppers, place soldiers so that they don't block each other and always have a Radioman with your assault group.

Check your objectives to get more resources quickly, clean the dilapidated base to the southeast across the lake, then focus on the north. The SW hive (entry in the SE) is the most difficult one due to the terrain, so I'd suggest taking that last.

Once you have the initial defense down (Snipers and HMG turrets do that) you should have room to breath to decide on where to go. Don't give up :steamhappy:

I'm sorry you found the map too difficult
银发是好文明 16 Sep, 2023 @ 10:37am
No good map, too many spawns, enemy got royal and plasma and a lot of hopper on the very first night? And you have to fight on both side? Not for winning I must say
Obsti 6 Aug, 2023 @ 5:42am
Then it's solved brilliantly. Seeing the lack of supplies right at the start scared me away, but I will give it another try now. Well done!
TheBigTG  [author] 6 Aug, 2023 @ 5:30am
As you said in your 2nd paragraph, not getting the hive clearance mission instead spawns supply crates to collect near them. So there is still an incentive to clear them (aside from reducing enemy spawns) as you do get some rewards.
The goal of the different rewards is to change up your playstyle. Sometimes you get less supply but more war support so it makes you rely on turrets instead of units for example.
Obsti 5 Aug, 2023 @ 4:09am
Hm, I wanted to try a second time to see the randomized objectives and instead of getting the 6x3 supply hive clearance objective I got a 1x4 rescue objective? The difference in usefulness is significant and I now understand some of the comments.

Would it maybe be possible to randomise objectives but still, in the end, reach more than a measly 4? Or do objectives rewarding less supplies already go in hand with more supply crates being collectable?
Obsti 3 Aug, 2023 @ 2:11pm
I really, really enjoyed this map! It takes quite some time to clear but any progress made feels tangible due to how it affects the night waves and what you can throw at the bugs. In Lukograd the defense got harder and harder the more you progressed through the city, here progress outside of the fort allows you to adjust the defenses down and commit even more to the offense, which feels much better!

Due to the terrain near the rear hives and the overall limited resources I had to adjust my army setup on the fly but it was very worth it. Challenging but rewarding!

MVP definitely is the radioman on this map, even more so than on Ricograd. It really hammers home where the "mobile" in Mobile Infantry comes from.
TheBigTG  [author] 28 Jul, 2023 @ 1:37pm
the objectives roll randomly when you launch the map, so youll know after the intro whether you have the megatanker or not
dennis.larsen 28 Jul, 2023 @ 12:56pm
@TheBigTG, the trigger that will spawn the Mega Tanker - if that's a thing :)
TheBigTG  [author] 10 Jun, 2023 @ 8:03am
which trigger are you talking about?
dennis.larsen 10 Jun, 2023 @ 5:24am
Great map. Did not get the megatanker, at all. Does the trigger work the same, no matter which bug hole you take out ?
TheBigTG  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 3:43am
Happy you liked this one too! I basically started off with that Sc2 mission in mind when making this :P
Diehard 7 May, 2023 @ 1:09am
Another really fun mission! The attack during the day/defend at night mechanic was really cool. Reminded me of one of my favorite Terran missions from Starcraft II. You definitely have to be careful not to put yourself in an impossible situation though. I had to restart because the bigger hives got too strong for my limited forces to handle. Still, with a revision of strategy and a new set of objectives, I was able to beat it.
TheBigTG  [author] 3 Apr, 2023 @ 4:14am
@huon23 Ya i tend to make my missions as hard as feasible (a bit overtuned sometimes).
And yes! This is the first map of its kind with randomized objectives that yield different rewards. So maybe a certain combination gives you less war support but on the other hand you get more supply or dropships.
I hoped to make the map more replayable as you don't actually need to fully clear it every time depending on the objective combinations
Huon23 2 Apr, 2023 @ 11:36pm
Really unique mission! It's definitely on the higher difficulty end, and requires some tricks to make it work. Had to hide a radio squad in corners to be able to make enough progress on daytime, then evac back during the night sections. Only critique I'd have is maybe adding a couple more war support points to be grabbed from around the map. Especially since the dropship objective forces you to drop 2 points on a fleet liaison officer and all you get out of it is one more dropship.

Also, are the objectives randomized? If so, very cool! I kept thinking the game bugged out because in the first attempt, I had the objective to get the extra dropship, then in the second attempt I had a different objective for a plasma bug. Would love to see this in more missions!
TheBigTG  [author] 23 Mar, 2023 @ 12:18pm
@silversleek, just updated with an extra minute of daytime, should help
silversleek 23 Mar, 2023 @ 11:02am
Way too short of a daytime, by the time my army reaches the enemy, Night is starting and I need my army back at home. Even if I try and use fleet liasons to ferry my army around there's just not enough time to actually clear, especially in the area with the brain bug and the hive behind the plasma bug where there are chokepoints with lots of royal guards. I can defend pretty much infinitely but can't actually beat the mission.

Thanks :)
