I mean honestly it kind of seems like an overreaction to Alu just not being aware that this mod was still being worked on in the first place after 10+ months of silence on this mod page. I mean, hell, I didn't know that Owlchemist was still active until literally 7 days ago when Gerewoatle responded to my question about if there was any word of and update to 1.5

Take literally two minutes to basically say enjoy the game, have fun now, and don't depend on ANY mods to get updated. Get told to "go outside" by someone who has 3200+ hours played in Rimworld alone. LOL this community is a fucking joke.

@Alu: First, the unstable version of 1.5 came out slightly over a month ago. And a lot of mods that updated then are now having issues, especially with Anomaly itself, and are having to work those out regardless.

Second, a lot of modders plainly stated that they were going to wait until stable to update, likely for the above reason. The same thing happened with 1.4, by the way.

Third, Owlchemist has not ghosted anything. Per Ko-Fi, two days ago as of this post:

"Thanks! I plan on [updating to 1.5], just been busy lately, 1.5 dropped at a weird time lol"

So stop being a whiny doomer.

And that's not an attack on Owlchemist either, people are totally entitled to just ghost the workshop. Which is why I wished more popular mods like this should be core, or at the very least an option you can enable or disable in the difficulty menu for things like Run&Gun. This guys mods are top notch and I'd say 90% of it is worthy of being officially part of the game.

I mean I love how people say its a "two whole days" after a 1.5 release. When 1.5 came out over a month ago. There's a reason the devs release the patch before the DLC, and it is mostly to have time for mods to get updated by the time the DLC launches.

Call me a whiny doomer all you want but at least I have zero expectation of mods getting updated past a certain timeframe and am just being realistic. Seen many mods that promise within the modpage itself "Working on getting this to 1.4!" and then now that 1.5 is out its still stuck at 1.3. Waiting around promises nothing, fork it yourself or play without it and move on.

@Camalie: From what I've seen, apparently Owlchemist has stated elsewhere that they intend to update their mods to 1.5, but wisely did not seem give a specific timeframe.

Unless they have some meaningful info to share with the class I'd ignore them.

I'd like to request that the slider range be increased from 10 to something MUCH higher, since some mods have weapons heavier than 10kg and you can't select them at all with the current limit

If my pawn is set to ranged search and destroy and an enemy gets within melee range of them and they switch to melee, they won't switch back to ranged after killing them and will run at the horde of enemies on melee search and destroy and promptly die unless I stop them

I have found a slight issue with this mod, Duel wield has been disabled, however, I can still equip 2 axes and dual wield (default settings other than disabled). On top of that, it also seems the cooldown for the weapons is also broken, I can destroy a siege tower (Medieval overhaul), In 5-10 seconds. I have simple side arms and many mods that add weapons and tools.

Assuming this isn't a feature already and its just broken for me because of a mod conflict and I've never noticed, would it be possible to get an option to allow friendly mechanitor controlled mechanoids to use Search and Destroy? The button is there for them when drafted but it doesn't seem to do anything, at least on my end. I hate having to micro-manage my militor and scyther swarm lol

I've noticed the same behaviour with this as with the original Search and Destroy mod but this one is under more active development so figured better to ask here.

looks like the animal search and destroy is still tied to the single mod :c
