@Zaljerem I'm starting a fresh playthrough now, I'll let you know what (if any) bugs I encounter since I use this mod extensively.

Also just a side note but, the original mod author is currently in the process of updating the original mod for 1.6 (I chatted with them on Discord for this next bit) although that's currently stalled due to IRL financial issues for commissioning the rest of the art they want for the mass update, as well as not currently having the Odyssey DLC.

So is it coming? Supposedly.
ETA? Only the Old Gods know.

Here's 1.6 ... and my apologies, I still haven't reviewed this mod for a bunch of the issues reported. If anyone would like to help me out (it's a busy time right now, with updates) by testing and seeing where we're at, it would speed my effort to fix it. Thanks, and enjoy!

Any ETA on a possible 1.6 update? This is easily, EASILY one of my top 3 content mods for Rimworld.

Just got paid to raid a bandit outpost that had a sIG 33 as a turret. Bit of a surprise, but what was the bigger surprise was that it was loaded with marble chunks instead of shells.

There's kind of an issue with this and some of the recipies. You can make shells 75 at a time, that's great, but for the more powerful ones it's next to impossible to have a pawn haul enough material. There's one I tried, it takes 5k steel and 7k odd chemfuel, and there was such a huge pile on top of the cnc machine that other pawns started hauling it back to the stockpiles and it seemed like the game had lost track of the fact it was supposed to be for a job in progress.

I'm having the same issue... When multiple cannons of different types are built some will automatically target enemies while others have to be force-targeted. If only one type of cannon is built, all have to be force-targeted to fire. I really hope this gets fixed if it is a bug...

I'd suggest splitting the turrets into manned and unmanned tabs if you do make unmanned versions of more turrets

id love if adding the computer would make it so the cannons had auto targeting. but i guess that would require the unlimited ammo mod or being able to load up an ammo reserve for it to use

It's needed for the unmanned turrets: Unmanned 20mm Flak 38 and Unmanned AEC Daecon.

I've always loved the idea of this mod, but found it unusable because of the excessive amount of research required to get access to the turrets, would it be within your abilities to create a singe research project patch?

Zaljerem, thank you so, so so so so so, so much for updating this phenomenal mod. It's unfortunate the original mod developer was no longer able to keep up on this, but thank you for adopting this.

Would you ever consider adopting "Remote Tech" as-is as well? It's long overdue for an adopter, and was one of the best mods in the game when it was up to date.

That's awesome, I wish you luck with the coding. For me CE isn't important, I've taken to Yayo's Combat as it's more compatible with other mods I've found
