Omega heads up, there some new suits mods like Shock Ranger Armor and maybe Helldivers Armor that would work well with Soundproof Gel. Your mod is really nice. :steamthumbsup:

Hello! i used some soundproofed suits from your mod but just understood there's no Baroverhaul exo's compatibility. It would be cool if you're add it.

@ChickenDodo The gel really does a lot of "OnContained" checking.
I have an idea on how to alleviate this, I'll update the mod shortly :D

putting the suit sound proofing gel in a locker lags the game intensely, keeping it on inventory seems to fix it

using the command showperf shows that putting 1 gel in a locker increases the items by 2ms

perhaps a mod conflict/me putting the mod order incorrect but thought me'd mention this anyways

can you add "奇迹之海武装 arms" suits to your mod? there is one suit that is super rare that has his own built in sonar to scan for minerals, it would be cool to have some sort of protection for it too

No, i tried on standard suits from vanillia - standard diving suit and abyss dyving suit.

Anyway after changing the order, it works for now and I won't look further for why. I just wanted to let you know that strange things do happen.
with regard to load order [imgur.com] I would bet enhenced husk or dynamic europa, I don't know why, it's just a feeling

All I can think of is that maybe you tried using the gel underwater or you tried using it on a suit that's not integrated in the mod.

I don't see why that would happen since this mod only adds items to the game.
You can even run it without Real Sonar and all you'll get is an error about Sonar/Vibration/Acoustic afflictions not found.

After the recent problems I had with operation, I must report that the order of loading seems to be important.

I placed the main mod with the add-on quite low in the order and as a result the gel did not work (to be precise, the gel container occupied the position of the oxygen tank, the suit did not receive the effect). after changing the loading order the problem disappeared but I can't pinpoint exactly what caused the problem

Does the order of loading in relation to the basic mod and the rest of the mods (possibly other mods affecting the world, such as "dynamic europa") matter?

Putting it in a vanilla suit locker works fine on my end, try crafting a new one and see if that works.

Hey noticed that as of recent update, if you use the Deep diving operation suit (Havent tested others) after being soundproofed, you will suffocate you even with oxygen tank if youre on dry land, however in the water youre fine.

Just took a look at these 2, they're not your regular diving suits.
Abyss has separated helmet and armor.
TITAN doesn't have one of the tags the gel checks for.

There could be a way to add them if I go off-road but I need some free time for that xD

Sick, thank you!! Also - not to continue to be a pain in the ass, but do you plan to include support in coming updates for the TITAN and ABYSS warsuits? If not, it's not of any concern. I hate to make you work more than you already do as a modder. :)

Fixed.
EK owner goofed the utility hardsuit by including a random capital letter in its ID.

This mod doesn't conflict with other mods and its loading order doesn't matter either, you're good xD

Utility MK-I hardsuit from EK 1.x.x.x isn't changing to the soundproofed version when putting the gel into it. Unsure if it's an issue with me and my mod load order or something from the script yesterday.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time with the condition thing. I'm already done with the new script but it has a bug with the condition. I may end up doing a 1 use only.

A simple and drastic fix would be to cut their cost by half and make the one time use.

On my side for the gel i have to place it and instantly grab it back otherwise both get consummed in like 0,25 seconds.

Updated EK suits with current "EK Mods for 1.x.x.x" version.

@thibaut3000 The gel is working fine on my end. It's supposed to activate instantly when you place it inside of the suit, and every second from there on, so to consume the whole thing it should take 2 seconds.

Still, I'll be taking a look at the script to see if I can optimize it somehow.

Also, on my side, the suits consume the gel way too fast before exploding and spawning their new form, it cosume it twice (So 1 whole item)

I used the gel on my Military MK2 (mercenary) suit and it went from 4 inventory slots (1 for oxygen and 1 for a healing item) to just 2 slots (1 for oxygen and 1 for a healing item)
