Would this work with a faction unlocker?

These skins look so good but if it won't work with a unlocker I have to find a different reskin mod to use.

I am currently developing a sub mod for the unlocker I will be using that adds more units with a variety of different assets used.

Like age of Justinian assets and anno domini and some of sebidee work

Just to be clear I’m not trying to criticise your work, these are by far the best reskins on the workshop that are complete and don’t change anything about unit stats.

I just noticed few smaller issues (units missing some small part or having another misplaced), but nothing major that wouldn’t work or "ruined" the experience.

I’ll try to do list of factions and exact units affected by anything while running all reskins at once (barring those for Last Roman and Charlemagne for now).

no load order is irrelevant. I have spring cleaned models to make room, if I have accidentally removed used assets then just comment units affected and I will resolve it

Also, is there any particular suggested load order?

While trying to run all of the reskin mods for the base game/Grand Campaign at once, I encounter numerous smaller graphical issues.

It seems like Poison Archers and Poison Hunters units don't really get affected by the reskin.

The slavs share standardbearers with other barbarian factions. If I get some extra time, I will do a submod for slavic standardbearers.

I will see if I can localize and fix the missing torso.

Hi can you change some of banners for units? Becaus there're not so slavic, when i see blue banner with cross or witch someon like saint from bible i feel strange, and i fined one cawarly unit have mising torso. I reely do like this mod finyli some nice look for slavs hope my opinion help :)

If you have other mods for Germans and Romans just put them above my mods in the load order.

but what i mean is that some of the requirement mods change other non slavic factions, like the germans and romans, and i already have mods that modify those factions, i only want to modify the slavs, but the requirements force me to modify others :(

With the latest updates I've made the pack file sizes has increased by a fair bit due to more demanding graphical features. Instead of each mod having a 15 gb size they are now interdependent to effectivize space usage.

I have a question, I just started playing TW again and I found out about the update of this mod, so, I already had a game started with this mod and other mods that change the Germans and Romans, and I see that with the update, several of the required mods change to Romans and Germans, I don't want to modify the units of other factions, only the Slavs, so how do those mods required for this to work?

aslo I wish you kept your other reskins independent from your roman reskins since it plays with most of the units cards while isn't exactly the best reskin for the romans out there...

I second the @Megarian 's comment Slavic Noble Skirmishers don't have weapons and the Tall Shield Noble Units seems to have their helmets in a state of their male coifs, an update might fix that? But Other than that its a great mod love the additional details of the fact that the Slavs aren't some cloth and mail barbarians.

For soldiers of any region to consistently use color on their shields etc they had to have access to large amounts of material to make dye/resin for paint. Not just piss, ashes & clay..

Let me just reiterate that I haven't designed the shield patterns and I think we are getting too much into the weeds here. If you want to make some shield textures that is more historical I will gladly replace whatever I got in my mod.

Consult the Sukow-Dziedzice, Penkovka archaeological complexes for authentic imagery. Wildly different iconography: horse motifs, rosette patterns; I would recommend Slavic embroidery such as the shirt Alphonse Mucha is wearing in some of his photos for a more historically grounded source. Clothes are probably the best source for protection-associated imagery you would be very likely to see on shields, but they are also a dangerously polluted area because of the Neo-Nazi thing. Most often if you see something that resembles literal Arbeitspartei shit with minor modifications, you better avoid that because the chance that it is in fact authentic is astronomically tiny. Also like I said the white-blue-red palette was literally stolen from a Dutch flag and should not be there if your reskin is meant to be more historical than what CA did. Funnily enough, authentic Slavic artifacts are often black-red-white instead.

Im very well aware that the historical evidence for the kolovrat being used by dark age slavs is scant. Its sources is most likely from 1920 neo-pagans.

However, the swastika and all it's derivatives and variants are generally pretty common all over the world. Hell, even the Romans used them. So it wouldnt be crazy to say that they could have used some of those symbols.

Is it speculative or hypothetical? Yes. Is it unhistorical? No. If youre upset then I recommend you talk to CA as well because vanilla units have the same symbol.
