Forget about any relevant game programming updates.
It will be Keen's third abandoned project.
They are now focused on VRage 3 and a likely SE2.

Found a bug: seems like the power needed to fire is the power needed to run it. As in its taking 5MW of power constantly

i would really need a fixed (non turret) version of this mod, perferrably with integrated scope to use it as a sniper gun as normal turrets aren't precise enough (not that the gun wouldn't hit its target, just that you cant angle it to what the zoom lets you see)

Brilliant, the tradeoff of damage for speed and range makes this perfect for point defence without wasting time with conveyors or ammunition production.

There is a bug that when manually controlling the turret it fires faster than in automatic mode causing it to start not good sound. Now we need to controll the turrets manually (with this mod ) so it doesn't produce that sound.

I believe it is the "ammo" it auto produces. There should be a scrap function if we obtain them from the turrets for sure cause it confused me the first time I seen them in my pack.

You should lower the turret control sensitivity a little. The sound is also a tad bit annoying after shooting for a moment from there. The damage works perfectly and I like how it seems to ignore anything that not functional, letting you get the most materials in survival.

One thing i noticed from looking around on the workshop is that nobody that makes laser weapons/turrets ever mention about does this thing needs to be piped up for survival or can it be just thrown down on a armor block? Does this thing have a unique ammo we must make or does it just use the energy from the reactor?

Has anyone else noticed a server sim speed drop when these are turned OFF (yeah I know) on their DS? I was running down a major sim drop on the DS I play on and found that when these are turned off (no idea if quantity is a factor) both client and server sim speed improve rather dramatically.

My ships use these exclusively as anti-missile/meteor defense so they're never switched off on my grids but other players on the server use them offensively and so turn them off when not in active use.

How accurate is it at 10kms? And how good is the turret control zoom? I need a surface to air accurate weapon for 5-10km range. Sorry, I cant currently launch SE... Should be fixed soon.

Haven't had any issue with mine.

I use a combination of these set at 3k range and the beams from Energy Weapons to take out meteors in my game

one of the new updates might of bugged the mod up
