@Humlepung: The greatsword variant has the same 120 mass like Greatsword while the other two have 100. This may sound weird but unit mass in vanilla is not determined according to armour. It is not very consistent and is more or less related to unit class/tier and role. For Chaos Warriors, all 3 variants have the same mass while for Chosen the halberd has the highest mass.

For the Empire, Greatsword is the only melee infantry unit with 120 mass so I have followed that while the other 2 variants have 100 mass just like the rest of the melee infantry. In general, greatsword units in this game usually have a higher mass, and halberd units sometimes have a higher mass.

Now you can recruit the three units when you are in control of Castle Reikguard as other Empire factions.

@ZeroOne: I have no cap for now so it would be more consistent with vanilla gameplay/Reiksguard. I will see how AI behave when I play as another faction. No promise but perhaps a submod later(?).

Nice ....sometimes less is more :-). Remember a mod in WH1 that added Reiksgurd foot to garrison (Reiksfort) like that.
would it be in your mind to add a cap for those units, that increases with the amount of Reiksforts you build? (so they cant be spammed by AI/Player which would reflect their elite status more)
