There are some great workshop items for camera controls but those won't work in ranked games. They are fantastic if playing with friends though!
Here and there i would wish more objects on the streets. And more splats and splines to make the streets more lively.
Its certainly handy to know about the quantities (map wide and the "safe" resources). I'll have to take a look and see how to best improve those. Territory cut off points are one that I do want to experiment more with, as I've already started a bit on that with the previous update. Would be great to finish that off :D
I know CoH3 is kind of a buzzkill with the current meta but if you want to work with other mappers and troubleshoot I can send you a Discord invite! Got a dedicated CoH map making server.
1) You've got too many munitions on the map. The standard resource quantities are 40f and 80mu but you've got 90 munitions on here!
2) I love how thoughtful you are with the territory point placement and territory sectors but you may want to consider redrawing the sectors so as to provide meaningful cutoffs. Especially near the south of the map with one VP and less fuel, they could provide extra incentive for players to play the bottom of the map because they can undermine a team focusing only on the top.
a) I've been told from Relic that having 10f and 20mu not able to be cutoff easily provide the most enjoyable games and give even a losing team enough resources quick enough to be able to make a come back.
- Cover updates across the board!
- Line of Sight for Default cam, as some trees/building block the default cam.
- Experimenting with lowering coastline fuel value. Should create opportunities for some push/pull in the town.
- Experimenting with the territories. I want to add some areas to break supply lines if you cap as its very easy to keep your supply lines, even when the enemy is capping your back line. This should bring some far better opportunities, and incentive to back cap!
@Brain - In response, I don't believe there is any way to change the map sizes if they are in the game. All maps tend to come as is unfortunately. Map creators would need to create their maps with size in mind. I know spearhead would certainly create some interesting CQC in the town on this one though! Infantry is terrifying in close range for spearhead!
