there seems to be a duplicate perfectexplosion projectile asset, log shows this:
[18:11:25.971] [Error] Duplicate projectile asset typeName perfectexplosion. configfile /projectiles/throwable/perfectgrenade/perfectgrenadeexplosion.projectile

I've tested bombs, the remote grenade launcher and generic rocket launchers & grenade launchers and even explosive barrels.
They all work as intended.

Are you experiencing the same bug with any of the explosives from the base game?
The grenade from my mod only uses slightly tweaked vanilla code.

It only happens with OpenStarbound, the grenade makes a continuous explosion that travels upwards.

No, that is not intended behaviour.
I haven't been able to recreate the bug you mentioned, you may need to provide more details in order for me to attempt to remedy the bug/conflict.

If you look at the armour in-game, it's clearly able to be shaped into things other than cubes. In addition, you will also notice grey accent pieces on the shirt and pants, which are the same colour as the ones in my mod. My goal was to create items that looked like they utilised the perfectly generic item in some way or another, like the armour.

is a Perfectly Generic Cube, is a perfect cube. then shouldn't it be that their is a perfect cube for the blades shown? hammer and shield is FINE, but the gun is a no. shouldn't it be more green as well? just my observation.
