Small thing I noticed, The Altitude hold indicator is spelled wrong. Not a big issue but I just noticed

Because everything else about this jet is amazing. It just screws with the Gun sight And is inverted so It's not actually leading targets correctly

Hello. I'm having some issues landing the aircraft on a runway. 4 attempts to land and all ended in an explosion. 2 attempts, were with all missiles remaining, 2 were completely empty, flares and all. I'm taking off from FJ and Landing at FJ, is this the game thing with runways recently or am I doing something completely wrong? Is there an baseline for approach speed/ throttle? Other than the landing issue I'm having, this is a beautiful aircraft. Very, very, nicely done.

I wonder what this thing would be capable of if I happened to put in some of that weird alien shit i found in some kind of alien transport ship

Welp, the engineering team found the issue. Apparently the Quantum APU will bug out after repeated lightning strikes and fail to automatically reboot. If the electricity isn't back on after a lightning strike, you can manually reboot the APU by turning the engine/APU switch on and off again. That should fix the issue.

Well, our team can cover that. For some reason the lighting storms around Sawyer and Industrial island behave like military-grade EMPs, the lightning or the subsequent emergency landing must've damaged the Quantum Generator or a controller somewhere. Send the aircraft to our manufacturing plant and we'll fix it for you.

I have an update, i believe it was a mechanical failure from the lightning, or a failure from previous damage in transportation as I am currently flying it through a supercell lightning storm and the lightning only temporarily knocked down the power.

alr, so basically I drove the aircraft out of the hanger Jank Airlines style, and flew it through a small rainstorm, I flew around some towns in the Arid biome around 700 in alt hold. After the incident I decided to test the endurance of the engines by holding max throttle from the Creative Island to the last iceberg in the arctic region. The engines held. There was no previous damage, and phys was on high, but it didn't seem to affect the craft negatively. Durning one of the storms, I had to take an emergency landing due to a loss of power from lightning, however the engines were fine. I took back off, after scanning the craft with my welding torch. I went into flight again over the Arctic oceans and the engines studdered, stalled, and the craft decended into the ocean right out of the sky. My conclusion is that I believe the craft may have malfunctioned from the lightning with no visible problems.

That's odd. Our QA team did about a month worth of test flights and the F/X-8 never malfunctions like that. Would you please provide a detailed report of that flight up until the crash?

Everything I used in the situation was how I testfly every other type of plane, spacecraft, ect. I have never came across anything like what happened when your vessel just came right out of the sky. I was using the regular jetfuel that I use for everything else. I keep testflights uniform, and nothing is left out

It depends on the context of the accident. If it's proven to be an inherent design issue, we will cover it.
However, if the accident is caused by either overriding maximum throttle value, improper maintenance protocols or using low-quality fuel, we won't cover your loss as doing any of those voids your 3-month warranty.
