Can you provide an older version?Players reported that this would not happen in the previous version.

I tried multiple times :,(
I just can't figure out what went wrong.

No error logs, no hints from crash dumps, nothing.
I don't know what to do :(

If I figure out something, I will immediately update.

Very fun mod! You have to be very smart / strategic with ammo conservation. Aliens will drop more, and also different weapons / items. Definitely a team-oriented game.
