Well, I did want stronger cities but not this strong.. Is there an up to date "lite" version of this or something? Literally just without the city turret upgrades, or VASTLY weaker ones.

Playing as Tyranids, it is completely impossible to attack any city, as they apparently all have 20+ guns and do 75+ damage.

Rhadok, I will look into this behavior more when I have time, and see if I can reproduce this results. With a quick look at the code, I cannot see any reason why this would be happening

Styles, I will not be changing this version to be in line with the less brutal cities mod as there are people who enjoy the normal brutal cities aesthetic. Additionally, I have no desire to maintain a third version of this mod at present, I am sorry.

Still loving this mod. However Ive noticed that the Drukhari buildings don't disappear after being destroyed. Kinda annoying. Hope this can be fixed.

Hiya, great mod. Just noticed that the cooldown for placing battlements are much quicker for SoB. I was able to place after 16 turns in MP and other only after 20 turns. Why's that? How can I change it in the mod to be equal?

Sorry, for being too harsh, i was getting rather fed up in battles against the two. Let me explain my reason for their removal: the sob do have a anti-armor with the multi-meltas and need i remind you that the necrons, tyranids and eldar city and battlements also have a base range of two and the sob have THREE different weapons while other factions have two (the eldar have one). The fortresses of redeptions aren't part of cities, they're something that can be deployed ANYWHERE on the map vs battlements they also have a 50% invul at tier 5

@Overlord617 SoB do not normally have a range 3 weapon on their HQ or Battlements. It was added because they were getting outranged in all of my testing. I opted for a low damage range 3 weapon that filled the anti-armor role because they also lacked anti-armor. As for the SM, they get a single city. Without the FoR buff, they were getting WALKED over. Additionally, I feel that I should remind you about the name of the mod. It's called BRUTAL cities. If you want cities to be easy, don't use this mod.

You do realize this is a mod, they don't have to do a single thing you want them to do and your opinion has only as much weight as they themselves decide to give it, and acting like an entitled asshat makes most humans want to actually do the opposite of what's suggested just to spite the person acting that way? Try acting like a decent person rather than some power tripping middle manager and maybe you'll get better results, better yet try to come up with some interesting more balanced alternative, because most people don't like removing features, but swapping them for something more interesting is, well, interesting.

Do i need to be more clear? The additional twin-linked lascannons for the SOB and the dauble fortress of redemption weapons are overpowered, REMOVE THEM.

Ok, i'm going to be brutally honest. The additional twin-linked lascannons for the SOB and the doubling of the fortress of redemption weapons is pure favouritism. Additionally the SOB need a true rework of their defensive structures considering how every city after the first have a max radius of 1.

Is this mod save game compatible? my bf and I were playing a game with the old mod, and I noticed the old mod does not add stuff for SoB. I then saw that this mod does and when I loaded up the save to continue our game i still did not see the fortifications lists for the save.

@kilistmiere The AI do use the structures. There are some changes I have planned for this mod, just waiting to finish my current playthrough with somebody as any saved games wouldn't be able to load with the new version. Expect games to take much longer with this mod on.
