more specifically Julian and the Derelict Mec mini-raider faction

Yeah they don't interact directly but if he's attached a loot table to the standard julian template, which is what this mod calls, you should get his loot fine

I haven't seen Julian from this mod with Alternate DLC Integration active, but knowing what the mods do, they should work together. And, since this mod doesn't touch the loot table for Julian, you should be able to use a distress beacon Julian to get the core you need for ADLCI too.

@Leyshade Distress Beacon is functionally only configs it uses entirely vanilla functionality. If anything is stopping it mod wise, that mod would break anything that can summon reinforcements. Like I said, chances are it's hitting the unit limit.

@MrCloista - Is a more nuanced issue that's a mod-to-mod problem we believe, that's causing encounter's to not be found, preventing the spawning in of units from that angle. Was hoping for private conversation to diagnose anything within DB's code that would be affected unnaturally by changes other's have made (so they're work can be improved).

@Leyshade if you are experiencing issues with spawning that would be due to having too many units on the map, as there is a hard limit which prevents further spawns (also causes things like Codex not spawning when skulljacking officer). This mod uses the standard method for spawning and is confirmed working as intended.

@Marcus this isn't a buildable item, this is a set of hack rewards. @Cuchulainn definitely doesnt't conflict with such mods as the scamper mod is a different set of unit templates. i use it with milita overhaul ++ 2022 currently and have used it with others as well

@Marcus it could be that this mod has some issues with mods that affect Resistance? It utilized another person's Scamper Mod that spawns in Resistance WITH the ability to be different, so I'm assuming this may also conflict with something like deadput's Militia Plus overhaul mod

This did work for me, even when altered to drop in 12 soldiers, but dose not work now, dose not even show up as a build able item in the workshop as it use to show up.

Only thing that I could think of is you're missing 1 of the requirements, maybe the Resistance Units That Scamper mod hasn't downloaded properly for you guys ? Try un/resubbing that. Beyond that I've no clue as I've tested each hack reward myself several times and never had an issue.

ok whenever I find a Resistance Beacon hack reward I use it. from 10 sucessfully hacks 9 times no reinforcement arrived. only 1 of 10 hacks a squaddy skirmisher arrived. First I thought the mod is not working with my config / mods but looks like it works. Only the frequence of really success reward arriving is a bit low. Therefore the question if there is a switch / parameter in the config inis

@pete van de pete - i've not touched AI so that's not on this mod. @captain_uzziah i don't play lwotc and i don't mod for lwotc, this mod was built with vanilla/ci in mind, if it works for lwotc that's a bonus.

Also a side effect of how the mission scripts work Julian will not be mission critical under any circumstances. Even if you have a sweep objective he won't count as a required kill so if you can't beat him you can just leave.

Personally I like the chance of seeing Julian again. I never liked how they just tossed that mission in WotC unless you disable integration. Yeah I know there's a mod to fix that, but still. Also, i dunno, but after a point Sectopods are not scary. One gunslinger with bluescreen rounds almost solos them.

imma be real with you, I would use this, if it wasn't for the 10% chance of the julian sectopod appearing and fucking everything and everyone up because that thing has 2~3x the health of a regular sectopod, with additional armour to boot, idc if it only has the main gun that deals 3-4 damage and shreds 1 armour, I'm not dealing with that lmao, cool mod, not taking that chance.
